Great hotel, clean rooms & very friendly staff

We had a fantastic stay! The rooms are not only nice but also very clean. Of particular note is the attentive and friendly staff.
The breakfast buffet with juices, egg dishes, bacon, sausages etc. was top. Even the dinner was delicious. The hotel is located in the middle of Wolkersdorf and has its own parking space!
We will definitely come back! ”

A family hotel.

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Wolkersdorf. We were greeted by the owner himself which is a very nice gesture. The room was a little old fashioned but clean and well maintained and the beds rather comfortable. The breakfast offered a nice selection of foods. Dinner was served as a buffe and was not particularly interesting but well made. Nice and efficient (almost too efficient as they sometimes tried to remove the plates before we were finished) staff.

Old and dates with hot rooms

The owners of the hotel were nice but the hotel is so dated and no air conditioning in august?! Horrible nights sleep, soft bed and just too warm at the very least please put a fan in peoples rooms if you can’t spare the money for air conditioning, took drinks at the table then came round 10 mins later and demanded we got up and paid for the drinks now ( while we were still eating) luckily I had cash to pay at the table but it was just very rude, the hotel needs updating a lot to bring it into this century but like I say owners are very nice.

Heurigen evening

Central location in the pleasant little village (Lidl around the corner) with several eating places. We stayed as a group for 4 nights and one evening we were promised a Heurigenabend, which turned out to be a cold buffet where a glass of wine was included and more could be bought. A musician came and entertained. Otherwise it was breakfast and a three-course buffet. We stayed in the main building on level 2 (of 2) - like sleeping among the treetops!

A good hotel but it needs to look at it’s accessibility.

We liked our stay in this hotel. We had a lovely big room with a comfy bed. The shower wasn’t good for me as it wasn’t perfect for someone with mobility problems but I was told they didn’t really have accessible showers. That was a shame.
Breakfast was ok but there was no fresh fruit or pastries which we would have liked.
We thought the staff were good.
The pool was small but again it wasn’t accessible for me.
They seem to cater for coach tours. We didn’t eat in the hotel in the evening as the vegetarian choice was poor.
This is a good central hotel. It’s not super modern or corporate but it’s fine and only 10 minutes walk from the train station. It’s really not suitable if you have accessibility issues. There are steep steps to get to the main door but once you are in there is a lift.

Very good location
