Very funky hotel with a vivid vibe
This is a very cool hotel with some very funky decorating, including the inside of the elevators. There is a great bar and reading area in the lobby. Just a quick walk from the airport terminal through the car park. Clean hotwl with friendly staff.

Not great
The main thing this hotel has going for it is the location. It’s just a 10 min walk to the terminal. But the hotel itself was not a great experience. The beds were not especially comfortable and there were weird lights on the floor that turned on automatically any time someone went to the bathroom, waking everyone else up. The walls and ceilings are thin, and we were all woken again at 4 am by what sounded like a stampede above us. The food at the “grab and go” is forgettable. The staff are generally friendly, but they wouldn’t even drop a stamped postcard in the mail for us, something that staff at every other hotel on our trip were happy to do. The hotel is not especially cheap, so I assume what you are paying for is mainly convenience.
I am a repeat Marriott customer, and this was on the lower end of the experiences I have had at their hotels.

Great airport hotel!
After our trip to Red Bull Ring we arrived at the hotel late in the evening for the last night before the next day’s flight home. Just to discover the check-in queue was long (in three rows) but you don’t have to worry about it as Moxy offers check-in via the app and digital key. Brilliant but remember to check in at least 30 minutes before you need the digital key for it takes the time to open the room for use??!! But a quick question to the reception was answered with both physical and digital key outside the line. Thank you for the excellent service from two tired Norwegians. :-)

I've stayed at this Moxy almost every year since 2014. I loved it, the airport location is unbeatable. But the decline is now impossible to ignore.
The room was dirty, with a disgusting white stain on the artwork by the entrance. The door didn't lock properly, I had to push it closed, and the metal latch inside was completely loose. The room I booked for my kids had tiny beds; my son is 6'2" and barely fit.
Breakfast has gone downhill too. We were there right at 6 AM when it opens, and the Semmeln already tasted old, there's no way they were fresh that morning. Gluten-free options were barely existent. And skip the welcome drink voucher, some gin concoction that's genuinely undrinkable.
Worst of all: the price. I paid €99 a night when I started coming. Now it's nearly €200, and with tax, fees, and breakfast for me and my kids, close to $500 for one night in two rooms. For a hotel that visibly invests nothing in upkeep, that's absurd.
I've complained before. Someone even reached out once. Nothing changed, except the price.
I would love to love the Moxy. But after all these years of loyalty, I won't be back.
