Cozy cuddling at its best
A new way of staying overnight and a contrast to my typical 4 or 5 star hotels. It is a wooden barrel with a large bed and fully equipped with matress, sheets, towels and heating. The minibar was in style with wine and water. Checkin with pin codes is fully innovative. Totally relaxing and with decent amenities it is a perfect hang-out for couples and possibly families. You need a car to get wherever you want to go, but many wine bars and a beer place are within walking distance. In summer this must be great for biking and for walks.

OK for one night
The sleeping barrel was very comfortable.
I wouldn't recommend it in winter, though, as there is a draft through the windows and door. The radiator is very loud and without it you quickly freeze at night.
Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to shower because there was no hot water.
It's worth mentioning that the sleeping barrels are located between a restaurant and a high-rise building.
The breakfast was nicely arranged in a basket, but the price is too high.
In conclusion, it was still a nice experience for us as we were only there for one night.

Gemütliche Übernachtung im Hobbitwald.
Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und in dem runden Fass habe ich mich sehr geborgen gefühlt. Zum Glück war es an den Tagen nicht zu heiß, da kam durch das Fenster genug Frischluft rein, Mücken blieben, dank Fliegengitter, draussen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, das Gelände hübsch dekoriert. Ich habe die drei Tage hier genossen.

Nett aber für April zu kalt
Das Schlaffass ist sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich gewesen. Jedoch waren wir mir Anfang April vielleicht zu früh dran da es sehr kalt war. Fenster war nicht ganz zu und Tür auch nicht somit war die ganze Nacht Zugluft wodurch unsere Köpfe abgefroren waren da das Fenster genau hinter dem Kopf ist. Die Heizung hat leider auch nicht viel genutzt da die nur Richtung Tür geblasen hat und somit ist die warme Luft durch den Spalt der Tür durch. Im Frühling/Herbst denk ich ist es aber sehr angenehm!

unromantisches Fass

My first and foremost tip: read all the reviews of this place before going. Since we didn't do that, we were quite surprised with this place, in a bad way. We as a couple were looking for a romantic place to sleep, as described on the website of Schlaffass. However, little romance can be found when children are screaming and running around all day. Moreover, the sanitary was very dirty with feces in eyesight.
When we arrived, our barrel - which was located on a relatively quiet spot next to a table for two - was not cleaned up. We had to go back to the owner, who had no time to answer our questions because he was on the phone most of the time. Yet, he was polite most of the time. He gave us another barrel which was located next to barrels where little children sleeped; thus we weren't secluded anymore.
The breakfast box is a total rip-off. Please read the other reviews to see why; you're much better off buying your own breakfast in a supermarket nearby.
Overall this was a bad experience for us: partly because we didn't find out about the place well enough, partly because its advertisement was misleading, and partly because we did not read the reviews.

Als wir ankamen, war unser Fass, das an einem relativ ruhigen Platz neben einem Tisch für zwei Personen stand, nicht abgeräumt. Wir mussten zurück zum Besitzer, der keine Zeit hatte, unsere Fragen zu beantworten, da er die meiste Zeit am Telefon war. Trotzdem war er die meiste Zeit höflich. Er gab uns ein weiteres Fass, das sich neben Fässern befand, in denen kleine Kinder schliefen; somit waren wir nicht mehr abgeschieden.
Die Frühstücksbox ist eine totale Abzocke. Bitte lesen Sie die anderen Bewertungen, um zu sehen, warum; Kaufen Sie Ihr Frühstück lieber selbst in einem Supermarkt in der Nähe.
