Absolutely amazing place

We absolutely loved staying at Pension Forsthof and we fully recommend it for a family skiing trip.
We stayed at Pension Forsthof for a week during our family skiing holiday and we absolutely loved it. The rooms are clean, warm and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. In addition there is a large room for drying and storing ski equipment. The hostess, Petra, is very friendly and really cares for her guests. The included breakfast is amazing, with a great variety of homemade jam, juice, ham and cheese - everyday there is a different selection. The place has a lovely atmosphere, it is well located in a quiet environment, only a few minutes drive from the ski lifts and in walking distance from the bus stop for the ski bus.

Great stay, excellent service and rooms!

I have stayed her twice in 2019 and 2020. I joined my friends during a ski trip. Friends I stay with are regulars here and have been staying many times over years.
There were 8 of us each time. We had all top floor (4 bedrooms and 2 living rooms with kitchenette) booked for us. The rooms were tidy, spacious and with all necessary included. Rooms were quiet and the view to mountains was stunning. Ground floor drying room for ski equipment was a nice extra as it was great to put on a dry and warm ski equipment in the mornings.
We was spending most days skiing and attended local SPA and Sauna twice. Food shops and SPA are a short drive away. We used rental car to get to locations, but there is also a bus stop nearby with easy connection to ski lifts.
Owner Petra is always welcoming, kind and friendly. It was a pleasure to return.
Highly recommended and we will be returning again!

Feeling like home!

One of the best place we stayed in our Vacations. The kids felt like on grandma farm, feeding the baby goats and the baby rabbits.
The breakfast was delicious and rich and Petra was the best guide, offering good information about activities to be done in the area.
The room is not luxurious, but is clean and big enough.
We'll come back one day!

Thank you for this perfect week

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! We were amazed by the hospitability and kindness of our hosts, the amount and quality of the breakfast. Our rooms were cozy and clean. Perfect accomodation for a skiing holiday. We got a lot of help in choosing the best place for skiing, the hosts even played board games with us in the evenings, and took care of us when some of us got sick or had a ski accident. I would recommend this place for everyone, and we will definetly go back next year!

Old World Charm!

We have stayed here a few times- in summer and winter- and we have never been disappointed! Fantastic service and the staff were more than helpful. Near enough for the slopes in winter and walking the mountains starts practically in the back garden. The business runs an 'Alm' in the summer and well worth the hike up, plus kids can destroy some energy in the Saalbach Kletterpark which is en route.
To summerise- a lovely location, quiet, clean rooms and also self contained apartments for families or groups. Staff are very helpful and if you ask nicely the kids can get to see the rabbits,goats and calves.
