nice family run guesthouse with perfect hospitality

We spent three nights in this nice place end of May 2017. We travelled as family of for (two adults, two little ones agd 2,5 and 1).
First - this place has great location overlooking the Millstatt lake. It is quite high so on one hand the view is not limited and on the other it is perfectly quiet there.
Second - it is run by super-friendly family who really care to make your stay enjoyable. They have lot of animals (cows, pigs, sheeps, cats, dogs etc.) which was super nice for our kids. Also the kids of the owners (Rania & Rudi) were really trying to make the stay unforgettable for our little ones.
The room we had was ok. Nothing fancy but enough for short stay. Bed comfortable. Wi-fi working. Breakfast large but not varying from day to day (although if we needed anything extra -there was no problem).

Rustige, relaxte vakantie in een prachtig berglandschap

Leuk, aangenaam verblijf bij vriendelijke mensen. Fantastisch geslapen; de rust van het plekje op het einde van een baantje op een berg met wijds uitzicht over het meer en de vallei valt niet te beschrijven. Zeer ruime kamer met heel goede bedden. Badkamer is aan een revisie toe, maar alles heel proper. Lekker eenvoudig ontbijt. Wie rust zoekt in de bergen en ook nog van vakantie aan een prachtig meer wil genieten, zit hier uitstekend!

Genialne miejsce położone wysoko nad Millstatt z cudownym widokiem na jezioro i góry.
Do centrum miasta około 3 km. Cisza i spokój. Największą wartością tego miejsca, poza widokami, są bardzo gościnni właściciele. Byliśmy z dziećmi, które zafascynowane były ilością kotów oraz tym że mogli pomóc w wieczornych pracach w gospodarstwie. Jedynym małym minusem są śniadania, które wg. nas były za "suche" - brakowało warzyw takich jak pomidor, ogórek. Ale dostaliśmy domowej roboty jogurt oraz przepyszny miód z własnej pasieki. Bardzo polecam osobom szukającym autentyczności i gościnności! Właściciele mówią po angielsku.

Semplicemente perfetto

La semplicità, la simpatia della proprietaria, la pulizia ed il rapporto tra qualità e prezzo ne fanno una ottima struttura dove soggiornare. Abbiamo passato tre splendide giornate in questa struttura , poco fuori dal centro in un ambiente meraviglioso . Consiglio vivamente ad altri questo hotel!

Waar voor je geld.

Wij verbleven hier in de zomer. We hadden een prachtige 3 persoons kamer aan de achterkant van het hotel dwz dat je over Saalbach heen kijkt. De badkamer heeft een inbouw radio en heerlijke douch en met de bedden in de kamer is echt niets mis. Verder licht er vloer bedekking in de kamer en heb je een grote tv met veel zenders oa BVN. Volgens mij is het allemaal net nieuw.We hadden half pension geboekt. Het eten, de wijn echt niets mis mee. Allemaal lokale verse producten. Misschien heeft het restaurant niet de meest gezellige uitstraling.Het licht helemaal voor in het dorp een stukje de berg op. Dus daar moet je wel rekening mee houden. Ongeveer 20 min lopen naar het centrum. Daar krijg je wel een prachtig uitzicht voor terug op een zeer ruim balkon. Verder was het er brand schoon en onze hond was welkom. Als ik dan en kritische opmerking mag maken is dat de informatie voorziening wat beter zou kunnen. Een map op de kamer met info over het hotel (etenstijden, opening sauna). Dit scheelt een hoop vragen. Maar daar kom je ook wel weer uit.
