There are no queen or king beds. Only double which they push together to make larger beds. They provided a topper after we asked for our 2 singles to make a larger bed. This is a large well established hotel/restaurant/spa located very close to Mondsee lake. Great location for visiting several lakes and quaint lake villages in the area. Lots to do from here including 30 min drive to Salzburg. Lots of history here but building is well maintained and rooms are comfortable. Spa is very nice. Restaurants are good especially the breakfast buffet. Also highly recommend the Riesnerhof restaurant nearby. We would stay again.

Makes you feel at home

I was very pleased with my stay at Schlosshotel Mondsee. I was particularly impressed by the food – it was really excellent and a treat every day. Also the spa area was great and invited perfectly to relax.
Special praise goes to the reception, especially Christina and Jana. Both were exceptionally friendly, helpful and always took their time. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after – really a huge compliment!
Also the whole team was very attentive and made the stay all around pleasant. I can definitely recommend the place and would love to come back!

Everything perfect! Excellent service, nice staff and good food. The building has been lovingly renovated as a listed building. Unique flair!

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Very polite staff. Super cool spa with saunas and pool. Breakfast was extremely delicious. The yard was very nicely decorated. Hotel for all generations.

More perfect the second time!

For the second time here and perfect again! Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms with the two floors are perfect for families. The SPA area with two saunas, pool and relaxation room is also very atmospherically furnished.
