Great apartment with mountain views
Lovingly equipped apartment, we had the apartment with 2 bedrooms, with infrared cabin and a large balcony. Breakfast at the nearby pizzeria was great. Even the dinner was super delicious. We were very enthusiastic and will definitely come back. Thanks to the hosts.

Lack of communication, poor management, low maintenance.
I usually don’t write negative reviews, especially about family-run businesses, but I feel an obligation to warn others and I truly hope the owners take this feedback seriously because this place has the potential to offer a great experience.
TL;DR: Lack of communication, poor management, low maintenance.
We booked this place after hearing great recommendations from guests who stayed there in 2022. The photos looked amazing, and we loved the idea of staying at a family-owned and operated property. I booked directly through their website, entered my credit card details for the deposit, and expected a smooth process.
Two days before our arrival, I emailed the owner with a question—no reply. I also noticed my card had never been charged, and I had received no check-in instructions. We started worrying that our reservation wasn’t even valid. On the day of arrival, I had to dig around to find a phone number, and only after calling did someone answer and tell me to collect the keys from a pizza restaurant across the street. Having to guess, search for contact details, and hope for an answer is simply unacceptable.
When we arrived, an older lady—who barely spoke English—handed us the keys.
The apartment itself was a letdown. Maintenance was clearly neglected:
• Lights that didn’t work
• A fridge with a foul smell
• A dead wall clock
• Remote controls with no batteries
• Dirty, half-broken shades
• No recycling bins. Only one small
trash bin for the whole apartment and no instructions where to dispose it (when we asked the maintenance guy told us to leave the trash bag outside the apartment, which was there for the whole day until someone took it eventually)
The apartment photos were clearly taken a long time ago before significant wear and tear set in. Disappointing, but we could have managed.
When we've booked, we chose the B&B option, but when asking the lady at the restaurant regarding breakfast she said she is not aware it includes breakfast and she will find out later but she never got back to us.
Now for the real nightmare: The balcony was swarming with hornets.
There were multiple hornets nests in the blinds and balcony walls. During a full week heatwave with temperatures hitting 36°C, we couldn’t open windows for fresh air because hornets would immediately fly inside. Our kids were terrified. We reported the problem, and a few hours later, a maintenance person came to remove the nests. The relief was short-lived—by the next day, the hornets were back. When we checked out, I showed him they were still there.
To top it all off, when it came time to pay, the owner emailed to say they only accept wire transfer—not cards (although the lady at the restaurant across said before that checkout will be done there with card). It seems they were looking to save some credit card fees but for me an international wire, I had to pay extra fees, and had I known this upfront, I never would have booked.
Overall, this was a very bad experience for us.
Until the owners improve communication, fix the maintenance issues, and handle guest concerns seriously, I cannot recommend staying here.

Amazing Apartment
highly recommended apartment! perfect location, we stayed 7 days, amazing apartment very modern, big balcony with a view to the mountains, the house is a very private area, parking under the house, thanks for everything!

Sehr schönes und liebevoll ausgestattetes Appartment
Wir haben wegen Corona uns kurzfristig für einen Aufenthalt entschieden. Im Vorfeld hatten wir bereits Kontakt zu den super freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Wir hatten das Appartment "Acherkogel" gebucht - sehr schön ausgestattet und ideal für uns als 4 köpfige Familie.
Es ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Das Badezimmer ist zusätzlich mit 2 Infrarotsesseln ausgestattet, was wir als absolutes Plus empfunden haben. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit.
Super Ausgangspunkt für viele (auch sehr familienfreundliche) Ausflüge ins Nahe Umland. Alles sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen! Die hausgemachte Pizza ist nur zu empfehlen !!! Wir kommen wieder :-)
