Beautiful holiday

We have just returned from a stay (too short!!!) in this lovely mountain hotel. We returned after 16 years to spend a summer holiday in the mountains of Sankt Anton. The location is perfect a few minutes drive from all cable cars and services in the area and a few minutes walk from several hiking trails and Pettneu am Arlberg. We stayed in the very large, clean and comfortable first floor rooms with a balcony and mountain views. Cleanliness of all areas excellent. The spa available to guests is very nice and well maintained. The hotel includes in the price the Summer Card which allows you to use all regional buses, cable cars and many other services. The kitchen is the real strength, both breakfast and dinner are varied and well cared for. Finally, thanks to the whole family and the friendly and professional hotel staff.

Nice reception at the beginning became increasingly unpleasant!

Dear Sir or Madam, from January 1st to January 7th we (father and son) spent our holiday at the Hotel Angelika/Pettneu, St. Anton am Arlberg. Good location with bus connection to the ski area. We received a warm welcome from mother and daughter. The rooms are good and all the facilities correspond to the hotel. Only at breakfast and dinner you sit very close to the other guests at some tables. If you love that kind of thing, it's a great fit. We just wanted to have a bit more privacy. So I politely asked for another table. This was kindly granted to us. But by a stupid coincidence, I overheard a conversation between the boss and his mother. He referred to me as a "stupid dog". As if to say: what kind of guy is this here? From that point on, the boss of the house no longer came to our table to talk. The farewell was "professional". What a pity. We wanted to come back. But that's off the table now.
