Quiet traditional accommodation great hosts and food.

Arrived a bit early by bicycle, Disturbed "Oma" who gave us keys so we could settle in.
Quite a remote location with great views in every direction and a lovely church.
Basic but comfortable room with balcony. Quiet and dark at night so a good nights sleep.
Had a really good evening meal and excellent breakfast.
Great place to stay, despite its remoteness full of non Austrians, mainly motorcyclists, hosts did a really excellent job coping.

If you're looking for Schicki-Micki...

... is wrong here. If you are looking for a simple but clean hotel with casual flair, super nice innkeepers, friendly staff and fantastic food, this is the place to be. The rooms are simple and functional, but the beds are comfortable. There is no five-star top service, but feel-good atmosphere. It is self-cooked and partly self-made, so really organic. The inn is located on a hill, so there is no nightlife, but peace and quiet and a magnificent view. For bikers: a clean, spacious garage, motorcycle magazines and a host who is a motorcyclist himself and can help plan tours and problems. I really liked the one week stay and I will definitely come back.

Great experience

We came at night time to the hotel without booking it previously (because we didn’t mean to stay in Austria for night) but a couple minutes before our arrival we called the receptionist and she left us the keys near the front door. The hotel stuff is sooo kind and helpful, even in such unplanned situations. The view and breakfast are absolutely amazing, I would probably recommend this hotel !

Great vacation!

Excellent address, very quiet location, nice room, 90% of the food and drinks come from our own farm and production, an all-round successful holiday, I will definitely come back.
I was travelling by motorbike and felt very well looked after there.

Great Place, Nice Hosts

It is not easy to find but if you have GPS, it is not a problem.
It is about 800 meters above sea level, so in summer it is nice and cool and the air is crystal clear.
The room (with balcony) was nice and clean, the bathroom is ok though the shower cabin a bit tight. Unfortunately you can overhear people and some noises from other rooms but it is not too bad. The night is quiet.
You have a lovely view of the surrounding hills from the balcony and you can also watch cows and other animals and see people and machines working in the field.
Breakfast is excellent and there is a good restaurant here, the choice is not too big but the food is yammy.
Wifi was rather poor but at least we could forget about internet for a short time.
