Wonderful time out!

Just perfect! Super nice and warm hosts who really give everything for their guests - it's really familiar! - nice rooms, delicious breakfast, wonderful sauna area with several saunas, relaxation room and even sports equipment, and all this in wonderful alpine surroundings that offers many possibilities in summer and winter.
Bus stop, several restaurants and two supermarkets in a short distance, you can do all the things on foot.
We have been here 3 times and this will certainly happen more often:-)

Amazing base for a kid friendly activity holiday in a friendly clean warm B&B

Amazing , charming, B&B in the alps. The owners are so friendly and accommodating- nothing is too much . It’s warm and hospitable.
The facilities would keep children entertained for hours. My 11 year old swam , played in the playground. There are hammocks , cycles to rent . Amazing setting and views.

Excellent guest house in Dachstein!

We had a wonderful four day stay at Pension Simonbauer. The Gerharter family was really friendly, attentive and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. We used their amazing spa house (Finnish sauna, steam room, massage chairs) every day. Breakfast was excellent with lots of selection and variety. We really enjoyed being able to use the x-country ski trails that ran right next to the guest house and the village center is just a short distance away. (a little over a mile) All in all a highly recommended place to stay in the Dachstein region.

California Travelers

We have stayed here over a number of years in different seasons. Every year it becomes better and better. Constant improvements and attention to detail and family friendliness are a hallmark. Perfect place for Americans to see the operation of a family farm and real life Austrian experience. Christine and Georg Gerharter and family are wonderful hosts and the food and service is beyond compare. The many things to do winter and summer and the beautiful flowers and environment are a thing to behold. They provide guidance on what to do in the area and Georg even provides excellent touring. The Larchbodenalm in the nearby Alps is a special place that all should see. We have traveled all over Europe and this is as good as it gets.

Skiing holiday at SimonBauer

We stayed in the Holidayhouse for one week. The apartment is spacious: 11 people can stay, the living room enables to eat & meet & rest for the whole group. If you like playing games such as Activity, you will find enough space there as well. The kitchen is sufficiently equiped and perfectly situated.
The best is the wellness zone, just downstairs from the apartment. It helps you recover from all the winter activities the region offers. Apart from the great opportunities for the downhill skiing with Ski Amade ski pass, you can also appreciate the ski trails - some of them starting just behind the apartment.
In addition, Christine and George create perfect atmosphere and you really feel welcome and home. This year was our third stay there.
Finally, it is great to get fresh milk, eggs and bakery.
