Highly recommended
We stayed a week at the Hotel Landhaus Ramsau .We liked it very much. The whole team was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The atmosphere throughout the house was great. Breakfast and dinner we enjoyed very much. We can only recommend this place. Nothing was missing. The view from the room to the Dachstein was magnificent.

Nothing is missing and the whole team is unique!
We were at Landhaus Ramsau for the first time and can only clearly express that this house is indeed extremely good, no more so!
Starting from the welcome to the departure, our entire stay in this house was extremely positive, no it was excellent and we felt comfortable.
For more than 20 years we have been guests in South Tyrol and we think that we will now go to Ramsau more often in this country house and hope that the weather will be as good as this year. By the way, all possibilities are given here.
The staff in their entirety and seen as a team was unique. And the kitchen as such was largely awesome. All meals from breakfast to evening simply exemplary. Not only the kitchen, the team in its entirety simply gives everything to offer guests a pleasant stay. And indeed it succeeds. The atmosphere in this House and among each other also seems unbeatable.
I know it all sounds a little too positive. But I can't judge otherwise.
For professional reasons alone, in the past I have travelled almost weekly in Germany and abroad and therefore allow myself to address these words to the country house. You need not shy away from comparison. Just keep it up! We really liked it.
And we hope that this house with the very good team will be able to say goodbye to many satisfied guests besides us. Keep it up!

Returning from South Tyrol, we have booked a 4 day stay at Landhaus Ramsau and want to enjoy the “Styria” mountains even more intensely.
The hotel offers the perfect basis for this. The double room is large, spacious and equipped with everything you need as a guest. The beds modern and provided with very good mattress. The modernised sauna and relaxation area offers relaxation after extensive hikes. Those who like it can also swim, the swimming pool is large, bright, modern and equipped with appropriate resting areas.
The whole decor is planned and implemented with charm and attention to detail. This creates an absolute feel-good ambience.
In addition, there is a super friendly, competent team of management and staff who make the stay a real highlight for the guest.
Oh yes - “those in the Ramsauer Landhaus” can also cook, whether that is more than sufficient breakfast or the course menu in the evening.....really great.
We were in Styria for the first time, but the signs are on repeat. And the Ramsauer Landhaus would be our favorite.

All you need…
Beautiful! Definitely recommended. There's even a fitness center :). Food is very good. View is fantastic. Sauna area is completely new. Above-average breakfast! Staff very helpful. Swimming pool :).

Homely, welcoming and fantastic service
We have just returned from a week-long trip learning to cross-country ski and stayed at the Landhaus Ramsau Hotel for the duration of our holiday.
We loved our stay here, it is a friendly, family-run establishment and Walter the owner is constantly on hand to ensure guests have everything they require. Most of the staff here speak fairly limited English as the majority of their guests are German speakers but it was certainly enough to get by.
The food was particularly good, we were staying half-board. Evening meals were 4 courses -salad,soup,hearty main and dessert and made use of local specialities such as pumpkin seed oil. They had no problems catering for me as a vegetarian. The house wine was delicious and excellent value at 3euros per glass. The real highlight for me were the breakfast buffets which could not fail to set you up for a day on the slopes.
The hotel is located 2km outside the village of Ramsau. Most people staying there seemed to have cars but we had no problems without. There is a shop where you can hire skis and buy your lift pass 100m from the hotel (Walter gave us a 'Winter Card' which you added your ski pass credit to). There is a Bus stop outside the hotel, buses run hourly to Schladming/Ramsau til around 1830. We used the bus on the first day to get to our ski lesson as the Langlaufen school is in Ramsau but after that we didn't need to as the hotel has a cross country ski route passing next to it. Plenty of people at the hotel were alpine skiing but they seemed to be relying on cars more to get to the various surrounding ski areas.
The hotel has a small bar which was sometimes quite lively but we avoided as it was a bit smokey for our liking and the dining room has much nicer views across the mountains. There are a couple of bars within walking distance of the hotel but if you're after nightlife I'm told Schladming is the place to go.
