Hier ist der Gast König!

Hatten eine herrliche Wohnung im letzten Stockwerk, angenehm eingerichtet, alles was man benötigt war vorhanden. Sauna im Keller, Bibliothek im Flur und eine sehr nette Wirts-Familie. Der Preis überaus angemessen. Es passte einfach alles. Danke an die Familie Groder!

Great place with one big problem

Gastehous Groder is a very centrally positioned old building. Its apartments are more than comfortable, welcoming, clean and cozy. Just the traditional Austrian way! It is close to the ski slopes (10 minute walk or 2 minutes by car). The Groders are very nice people, friendly and helpful.
However, there is one big problem: the building is 10 meters away from the town church & cemetery. So, we could here the church bells tolling day and night, every 15 minutes and couldn't sleep at all. Also we had, in both rooms and living room, a view directly to the cemetery. We saw some very nice live funerals that holiday. Who could wish for more? ;)

Frechheit!

Wir hatten bereits im Sommer 3(!) Appartements dort reserviert. Ende November haben wir (nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage) eine Information erhalten, das kein Platz mehr wäre, das deren System unsere Reservierungen gelöscht hat! Keine Entschuldigung, keine Alternative!!! Es wäre fair gewesen denen abzusagen, die NACH uns eingebucht wurden - aber man bekommt nicht mal mehr eine Rückantwort! Wenn ich meinen Betrieb so führen würde wäre ich pleite! Ja, wir sind sauer - 10 Wochen vorher noch eine bezahlbare Unterkunft zu finden ist unmöglich.

Verbesserungsfähig

Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Haus Groder in Rauris in Whg. 4. Vom Platzangebot ist die Wohnung für 5 Personen ausreichend. Leider fehlt es an den Details. In beiden Duschbädern wäre ein kleiner Mülleimer sinnvoll. In der Küche haben wir einen Backofen vermisst und z. B. eine Teekanne. Etwas genervt hat uns der spürbare Drang des Vermieters zum Stromsparen. So sind in den Fluren sowie beiden Toiletten Bewegungsmelder für das Licht angebracht. Ständig geht das Licht an auch tagsüber. Das Warmwasser wird über einen Solarspeicher beheizt, wenn es bedeckt ist reicht das warme Wasser aber leider nicht mehr für das ganze Haus. Im modernisierten Duschbad war der Heizungsthermostat abgeklebt!
Zur Einrichtung muss man sagen, dass alles nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäss ist, aber für Rauris in Ordnung ist.
Da wir nicht viel Zeit in der Wohnung verbracht haben war es in Ordnung. Wir würden die Wohnung für diesen Preis allerdings nicht wieder buchen.
