Good pension
Pension Waldhof is a good starting point for exploring the Salzburg area. About 15 min from the center of Salzburg by car, located on the road to the lake district. Very clean and welcoming. Nice rooms with balcony, comfortable for a good nice sleep. Friendly hosts, a lot of information about things to do/see around. Reasonable breakfast to start the day good. All in all - we were happy. Good price/value for the region. You will certainly need a car (especially since there are almost no restaurants in short walking distance), but there is also a bus stop nearby (did not try it).
