Authentic

Charming guest room on Lake St. Wolfgang, in the municipality of Abersee in the hamlet of Farchen.
Small guesthouse, very affordable at €111 per night with breakfast for 2, unbeatable in the area.
So it is true that it is a bit isolated, but we found it to our liking: 600m from the bus stop (public transport included to travel throughout the Salzburg region for free, great, we save money, less fuel, no parking, and less fatigue, and we can easily access Salzburg, Bad Ischl, St. Gilgen, or Hallstatt...); in the countryside next to the Eisl sheepfold (with an organic shop attached) without nuisance (neither noise nor odor); private access to the lake 100m away with paddleboards available as well as sun loungers.
Authentic, traditional house, somewhat outdated - kitsch. On the other hand, impeccably clean, top-notch bedding.
Wifi, private shower and toilet, balcony, hairdryer, but no TV.
Typical breakfast with local products, especially the organic yogurts and cheeses from the neighboring sheepfold.
Private parking.
If you want to disconnect and recharge in the countryside with all the prestigious sites accessible nearby, this is the dream place.
Christophe and his mother are very welcoming (please note that their English is very limited).
Be cautious during heatwaves; there is no air conditioning.
Excellent stay.

Tolle schlichte Frühstückspension mit eigenem Strandabschnitt am Wolfgangsee

Waren leider nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise im Haus Christoph. Es ist eine klassische österreichische Frühstückspension. Kostenloser Stellplatz am Haus vorhanden. Außerdem eigener Strandabschnitt inklusive SUP-Board am Wolfgangsee! Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und mit Balkon ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber ist unfassbar nett und tischt ein überragendes Frühstück auf. Würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Einfach toll!

Die Sauberkeit war phänomenal, dass erlebt man selten. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut, es gibt eine eigene Parzelle direkt am See (3 min zu Fuß) und es gibt dort Liegestühle, ein Stand-Up-Paddleboard usw.! Das Zimmer großzügig und mit Balkon. Alles entspricht der Beschreibung. Das Frühstück war frisch und mit allem was es braucht.
Wir können das Haus Christoph mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen.
