Does not meet expectations due to internet images
The area is great for hiking, or even skiing.
Rooms:
The toilet is separate, there is a constant unpleasant smell and the ventilation is very loud. Also in the bathroom the ventilation is very loud, the radiator has not worked. The rooms were clairvoyant, here you can hear the conversations of the cleaners from 8 a.m. The room itself was old and did not correspond to the online pictures. Especially unpleasant was that the temperature in the room could not be regulated and it was much too hot at night.
Hotel, Wellness:
The walks in the hotel are very long and cumbersome. The reception, the restaurant and the old rooms are in the main building, the spa area in the new building.
To get from reception to wellness, you have to use three elevators and travel long corridors, which is very impractical. Especially in a bathrobe it is uncomfortable to walk around in the cool corridors.
The wellness area only opens from 11 am and is only open until 7 pm.
On the positive side, the wellness area was empty during the day. Most of the guests are on the road during the day and only arrive at the hotel around 5 p.m.
The spa was multi-storey, but everything was very small and not particularly appealing. On the highest floor there are two relaxation rooms which are very small and the many window frames disturb the view somewhat, in addition it is a bit cool here. One floor below is the gym. One floor below is the sauna area (steam bath, 90° sauna and 60° sauna) as well as the toilets and a water, tea dispenser.
One floor below is the outdoor pool.
The pool is an absolute highlight, this is nice and warm and the panorama beautiful. There are also sunbeds available here , but of course it is not quiet here.
Dinner was very good. However, no attention is paid to intolerances (also no demand at the reception). At the gala dinner on Sunday there was a 6-course meal. The food was very tasty, but you can't choose here. Difficult as a vegetarian or with intolerances.
Breakfast offered a good selection, but there is only the most necessary here. No salmon, no bacon or fried sausages or anything like that. The highlight here was the juicer. Scrambled eggs or omelette etc. could be ordered at the table, as could coffee etc.
Unfortunately, the afternoon snack cannot be consumed in a bathrobe. So here you have to go to your room and dress extra.
In addition, the food was not labeled in the afternoon, which made the selection difficult. Again difficult with intolerances. The selection afternoon was very sparse.
At check-out you were not asked if you were satisfied, a pity here probably no value is placed on the opinion of the customers.
Overall, the stay was disappointing, I would not recommend this place. It is probably ideal for skiers, but not for those seeking wellness.

A cozy holiday in the Alps for couples and families with teenagers
The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere and attention to detail throughout the hotel. The staff was warm, attentive and always ready to help with tips on the area or special requests.
Breakfast was a highlight – fresh and beautifully presented. The dining room has a cosy alpine charm that makes every meal special.
For couples or families with older children, the Sportalm is a fantastic choice. There is an atmosphere of tranquillity and elegance that is more suitable for those looking for a quiet retreat than a child-oriented resort.
A little note: The SPA area provided for families could do with a refreshment. While functional, it has a touch of 90s flair and doesn’t quite fit the hotel’s modern Mood.
