Wonderful people, great hotel
We recently arrived at Haus Steffeler having made a mistake with our booking for part of our group. It was entirely our own fault but the Hotel team did everything they could to help - they want above and beyond. I can't recommend them (and the neighbouring Hotel Adiano) enough.
The hotel itself is great - the location is perfect. Right on the main street with bars and restaurants and 2 mins to the lifts. Breakfast (next door) is excellent and Haus Steffeler is excellent value.

Friendly, calm and clean
We booked rather short-term and were a bit worried that it might be noisy at points as it is in the very centre of Sankt Anton, just some 2 minutes walking distance to the ski lifts.
But our room on the ground floor adjacent to the breakfast room was very quiet and calm at night.
The room is of good size and very clean.
The breakfast offers a variety of savoury and sweet bits, just what one needs before a day on a the slopes. A highlight are the homemade jams and marmelades, made from homegrown fruits by the lady running the place.
Like already mentioned in one of the posts before mine: all of this is superseded by the friendliness and efficiency of the service from minute one where the lady took us to the car park, to the last where we were given the possibility of a shower after the last day of skiing and before hitting the road.
It was the most pleasant 4 days of skiing and we will be back.

Absolutely lovely: charming, friendly, great location, good price
A charming B&B.
Simple, but there is nothing wrong with that. The rooms were all a good size, clean & modern (there was refurb a year ago). The breakfast was tasty while the sauna & steam room were a welcome treat after a day skiing.
The two sisters who run it are *SO* friendly and helpful: nothing was too much trouble, they were fantastic.
The location is perfect: just two minutes walk from Galzig or Gampen lifts, next door to Bodega Bar and near all the places. One of the reviews mentioned noise: I did not notice that.
Highly, highly recommended.

Perfect short term pension
Excellent location, two minutes walking (in ski boots...!) from all the mountain lifts. The administrators even parked our car (2 min walking to the parking) and put our gear in our room as soon as it was ready.
We got a room in the ground floor adjacent to the breakfast hall. It was just as spacy as necessary with a comfortable couch and away from the main street. Bathroom clean and spacious. Breakfast was rich and tasty, just as required before a day of skiing. We had a short misunderstanding on the key (she thought we had lost a key), but it was solved within two minutes.
We would go back to Steffeler anytime, really recommended.

The only thing more amazing than the location, are the staff
A super-friendly B&B located in the middle of town. We stayed as a group of 13 over Easter, with a mix of couples and friends. Everyone seemed happy with their rooms and the two ladies running the B&B couldn't have been more amazing. On top of that, there was a much needed hangover salvaging breakfast each morning and a sauna area to ease our weary bodies at the end of the day.
The first day there was too much snow to ski. The ladies recommended a lovely walk through the Verwall and helped us with everything from bus timetables, to table reservations.
It was completely above and beyond what we would and could have expected from a hotel at twice the price.
Of course we will be back!!!
