Expensive hotel for what it offers.

Hotel well located, next to the church, very central. Room good and spacious, but old. It was 3 days with noise from the bathroom exhaust that we complained on the first day and did not repair or change room. The key to the room looked like a gun, a heavy metal keyboard, which you have to leave at the reception. Very basic breakfast. Team very cortez. Expensive hotel for what it offers.

Hotel in general is very good, but has no acoustic insulation

The location of the hotel is excellent and perfect for exploring the city on foot, it is also close to the subway station (Stephansplatz). Good breakfast. Room spacious, comfortable, but with aspects that left to be desired: curtain blackout did not completely block the clarity and the room does not have acoustic insulation, it is possible to hear all the noise from the next room.

Beautiful experience.

​Perfect location right in the center and very close to the subway. Excellent cleanliness and fantastic breakfast!
​Friendliness of almost all the staff: the lady at breakfast is wonderful and the female receptionists are always smiling and very empathetic. A special thanks to Mahdi (I hope that's how it's spelled) for his infinite patience and politeness in immediately resolving a small issue we had with the room as soon as we arrived.
​The only sore point was the older gentleman at the reception, definitely not very pleasant. Fortunately I only ran into him at check-out, otherwise the welcome would have had a different flavor. Recommended!

Great location, old hotel

First of all, the location of the hotel is perfect, quiet position though very close to Stephanplatz. The building is nice, but then the entrance with the reception desk looks very old fashioned, more like a gasthof than a hotel. The corridor leading to the room seems more an old hospital. The room was partly refurbished, although the curtains seemed dusty and old fashioned but worse were the thin walls that you can hear clearly your neighbour’s running shower. The bathroom was OK, even if refurbishment did not meet all
requirements, since the shower had a slipery floor and the sink a hampering tap. The bath towel quite small. Even if there were complimentary slippers and a decent breakfast, that does not make this hotel a ****

Great location, poor air conditioning

We chose this hotel for the location and because it had air conditioning. The location was great and centrally located. The air conditioning, however, was underwhelming at best. I would estimate that our room temperature never dropped below 29C/85F. The air coming out of the unit simply wasn’t cold. I asked about it at the front desk and was told someone would check it. If they did, there was no change for our second night making this an overall unpleasant experience. If you are looking for decent AC in the summertime, look elsewhere.
