Cheap accommodation in Vienna

The hotel was good value. It long on the outskirts of Vienna, but there was a subway station nearby. Parking could be paid in the garage of the hospital. We received a parking ticket from the hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had not booked breakfast and since we slept over, we did not see the offer either. Extremely negative we found that you had to leave 50 EUR in cash as a deposit, but we got it back without complaint.

We had booked 3 nights at Hadrigan 1 double and 1 single room. But when we got there we were already very scared how run down the house was. Even the advertisement in front of the house made us think. Otel instead of hotel. Okay, that wouldn't be the worst, but when I entered my son's room, it struck us off. The dust lay centimeters thick everywhere. At the closet was a key without a beard and of the 2 armchairs one of them was life-threateningly unstable and at the 2nd the seat fell directly to the ground when lifting. Besides, it smelled very strongly of mold. We had then claimed this directly but the gentleman at the reception could us for the 1. Don't give another room overnight. The next morning, after much discussion, the room was swapped. Our room would actually be for 3 people. There was 1 table and 1 armchair and in the whole room including bathroom there were 3 sockets where you should take out a life insurance before you infect anything. The mattresses would need to be replaced once. Breakfast was ok, and the staff was actually very nice. Had I read the reviews about the hotel before, I would never have booked into this house.

If no claims are made, ok; otherwise AVOID !

The only positive was the bed; everything else was not worth the price !
Room temperature on arrival: 16.9° C !!!
TV: extremely poor reception; many channels not available.
Telephone: although available, but not usable because the cable was cut.
Bath: Extremely slow drain by the sink; hand shower not fixable in the shower (hangs down !)
Overall VERY "worn out"; floor is already showing "dissolution symptoms" !
Breakfast: large selection; coffee (espresso) very "thin" !
In the daughter's room, the window lacked the handle to open it !

Disaster

The room was too small and certainly did not meet the stated sqm specification on the net. The bed was too low, a slatted frame was not available, but it was a kind of "wooden board" , where something flew on it, what cannot be called a mattress. There was also only one outlet in the room (according to the room. Statement of the reception), which was not safe, because the "one cable" was rushing, which led behind a kind of closet and there were 2 sockets where the cable disappeared. The description on the booking page has 99% nothing to do with reality.

Basic, average, stuffy place

10-15min walk from the train station. Like how it is at the heart of the town centre, very near food & bus stops. Counter staff was welcoming, helped us through the navigation. You can only check-in 2pm onwards, we came early from the airport, so we just deposited our luggages at a level 1 room.
No safe in the room, so always take your valuables with you when you leave. WiFi was unstable, very tight space in the hotel, little pocket sockets to charge stuff. They provide breakfast service, but I don't see a lot of people using it.
