Top hotel
Top hotel. Room large and clean. Half-board was very good. Staff throughout the building is excellent. Although there is a playroom with a ping-pong table for children, it was not for my 9-year-old son. All the better the attached outdoor pool, which is easily accessible via a staircase. We will be back!!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and polite, the food very good, the rooms top equipped and clean, the wellness area very large - the place is really recommended!
Because it was my birthday, I got a cupcake with a candle, a very nice gesture!
One more thing I would like to say: NO extra charge and for the SPA area on the day of departure!!

Nice stay with great views of the city
We wanted to go to the “city of towers” again and booked a “castle room with Ybbs view” via the hotel’s homepage. It was remarkable that the price for the entire stay had to be paid as a “deposit” (?) immediately upon booking. At the reception we were greeted friendly. The room was sufficiently large and well equipped (TV, minibar, desk, information material about the hotel and the city, etc.), sanitary room with tub and in it shower, toilet in its own room. Everything was very clean and well maintained. And through a fairly small window we had a beautiful view of the city and the Ybbs.
The breakfast buffet (also freshly prepared egg dishes) there was a very large selection and everything tasted good, coffee and tea were homemade, the service when clearing used dishes was friendly and prompt. One drawback was that it was very cool in the very large room that has glass walls. We enjoyed the morning swim in the indoor pool – also the Jacuzzi. We did not use the sauna area. Particular attention was paid on departure that the fee for the garage of the city of Waidhofen near the hotel could be paid in the hotel.
We really enjoyed the stay at the hotel and especially in the city. Walks in the city, the culinary offerings, a visit to the churches, the museum in Rothschild Castle and above all a visit (still in pleasant weather, later it snowed and was “pre-Christmas” wintry) to the TierErlebnisPark Buchenberg, where we saw many of the animals living there very close.

Picturesque location on the Ybbs
We had a retreat at the Hotel Schloss an der Eisenstraße. The hotel is really great. Pretty nice and tranquil. The city center is within walking distance. The room was pleasantly large, the bed comfy and also the views to the Ybbs were really fine. The seminar rooms were relatively modern. Unfortunately, the seminar room itself was quite cold. On the lower terrace was barbecued and the smoke unfortunately pulled up to us in the seminar room. Unfortunately, that wasn't ideal.
The food during the seminar was not so intoxicating now. We've had that much better elsewhere. But the lunch and dinner were very good. There's nothing wrong with that.
This hotel can definitely be recommended, even for private individuals. I really liked it.

Recommendation for a weekend in the Mostviertel.
Room with half board booked.
Room very nice and large. Bathroom and toilet separate. Bed excellent. Face towel for the ladies.
Dinner excellent also with half board and not only a la carte.
