Blend of the Local Grandeur

The hotel has a local + modern architecture located on a hilly area. Rooms are well furnished and maintained, The Food is ok. Lot of inhouse shopping facilities available for handicrafts and wines. The green surroundings offer a refreshing ambience.

Beautiful mountain views

The mountain views from the front rooms are the best thing about this hotel. It’s within walking distance to Şeki Khan’s palace. The staff tried, after initial resistance, to offer us different rooms when we were weary about the sound of the live band coming from the open restaurant opposite our room. The band does play light songs till 10 pm but we were tired from touring and fell asleep.

Good for a quick overnighter

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. While the bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathtub was dirty with hair. We did not feel good about showering once we questioned its cleanliness. Breakfast was mediocre. There were already sliced oranges, but no other fruit such as bananas or apples. I prefer to handle my own fruit so I did not eat the orange. I watched the attendant take an unused hard boiled egg from someone’s plate and put it back into the bowl of eggs. After that, I didn’t eat an egg. I am very aware of food safely and this restaurant did not meet my standards.

Good location

While the bed was comfortable, the shower over the bath was challenging. I couldn't get the temperature adjusted, and my shower was too cold. Conversely, my husband said his shower was too hot! The included breakfast was served in an adjoining building, which would be annoying if it was raining. But the food was ok, with hot and cold options. We also had dinner there, and the kebabs were good. The elevators were small (max of 3 with luggage ), but there were two, and they operated efficiently. The hotel is opposite the carravanserai, and close to the Shah's Palace.

The bed was hard as a rock

Beautiful views. Breakfast was basic. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Front desk staff was ok but not extraordinary. For a night or two, it’s fine.
