Lovely apartments on the beach

Lovely apartment right on the beach.
Large bed, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, kettle etc…
Shower/ toilet
Little sitting area outside we had a room on the ground floor.
Beach towels are provided free of charge as are the beach beds and umbrella.
Bayside snack bar on the beach with lovely food & drinks at reasonable prices
All staff friendly and helpful
There is also free parking
Very handy for catching a bus to other areas Hastings, St Lawrence Gap , Bridgetown

Think twice before booking.

The only positive is the location. It is right on the beach and does have a bar but both close up at 5pm. The rooms are tragic! The doors frames are rotted so light comes through the sides. There was a light right outside the kitchen window that had no window covering so light flooded the room all night. The “living room” had one chair. That’s it! The bed had what appeared to be light fixtures over the bed but they were just dummy shades. The bed had only a sheet for a cover. No blanket anywhere in the apartment. Tried to call the office to get a blanket and the phone didn’t work. Ended up using 2 beach towels as a blanket. The shower drain had no cover on it. Just a hole. Didn’t really matter though because there was no hot water in the bathroom so no shower. Tiles were missing off the shower wall. Floors were very dirty. There was a small broom and dustpan if you felt like DIY cleaning. Fortunately I only stayed one night before heading to the cruise terminal. I will, however, give kudos to the lady in the check in office. She did arrange for a taxi for us in the morning.

Cute.

Simple hotel located in one of the most beautiful beaches of Barbados, Carlisle Bay. Fabulous location Large and clean room, equipped with full kitchen. Simple beach service, even too... Only flaw, bar and restaurant open only from 9 to 17. For the rest I recommend, we would stay again.

Perfect for a getaway

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Initially, I was supposed to arrive on the 27th, but due to a problem with my connection, I was able to shift my arrival and departure by one day. Mark, the person in charge has been very understanding about this. I was in a standard room/apartment (216). There was an equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and separate bedroom, well appointed. Cleaning is done there every 3 days. Everyone I interacted with was kind, smiling, ready to help. The hotel is located on a beautiful quiet beach. The staff at the beach restaurant is friendly. It is possible to eat there from 9 am to 5:30 pm, approximately. There is also a security guard between 7pm and 6am.

No Hot Water

No Hot Water, a threadbare mattress and creepy noises from surroundings. Weird night. Saved money but paid price of discomfort and misery.
Ran the water for 10 minutes at night and the next morning. Just a cool jet. Hopeless. This is more of a hostel for the destitute. Avoid.
