Not bad for an unpretentious traveller

During the search for a hotel in Minsk for 2 nights appeared in the search engine Sputnik. We took a closer look and decided to book.
1. Breakfast buffet. That's a nice buffet. You can eat well before a long day of travel and adventure. It was delicious. My husband was genuinely happy. And coffee from the coffee machine.
2. Location - near the station. We used to come to the train station and leave for Pinsk from there too. Literally three stops, and you're in place. Payment for buses-trolleybuses did not pose problems - you can buy tickets from the driver, you can - at the kiosk at the stop. Next to the hotel, the Sber building - that's where they rented Belarusian rubles without commission. But let's be honest - when we entered Belarus we had some local money, so there was no problem with buying tickets.
3.Numbers - Superior scoop. Lingerie's a breeze. The hotel is stated as a 3*, but the satin on the sheets was regretted. At check-in paid early entry +2400 to the room price, but did not want to wait, although the hotel is large, the room could be found until 14.00. But how come.

When arrived, there were no hair dryer, slippers advertise on the website. Had to go downstairs to the reception to ask for it! This is a 3 star hotel..
On a positive note, Loads of towels for the stay!
Stayed in twin double room. Basic. Each single bed had 2 pillows, which is nice!
Girls at reception are polite.
They have cooler in the corridor with 2 taps: cold and hot. How good is that I don't know. Personally, I would prefer kettle in the room instead.
Cheap restaurant downstairs for lunch. Soup was good!

Satellite

We stayed at the hotel in January 2024 while traveling as part of a bus tour from Kaluga. The hotel is located in a remote location from the center, but there are public transport stops nearby. The staff are quite polite. The room was warm (it was freezing outside). As a bonus, many of our group were assigned to singles (we went with a friend and initially booked one room for two). It seemed to me that the refrigerator in the room did not work well. Breakfast is ordinary. I had a hairdryer in the room, but others did not. Overall I can recommend this hotel. I would also like to say separately about the politeness and friendliness of the residents of Minsk and Belarus in general. A friend got lost alone in the evening, so they helped her find her way to the hotel and gave her a ticket for travel (because the kiosks were all already closed). Mir cards are accepted everywhere without problems, so I didn’t even have to change money or use cash.

It’s not far from city center with local bus access. Great for the budget.

I was satisfied!

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel for 5 days and settled on Sputnik. The girls at the reception were pleasant, they were always ready to answer any questions, check-in was quick. The room, like the rest of the hotel, is clean and comfortable. There was a cooler in the corridor, so there was no need for a kettle. Good location: next to a stop, from which you can get to the center in 7 minutes. There is a buffet restaurant on the ground floor, the food was delicious. Near the hotel there are grocery stores and a bank.
Very good value for money, now I recommend this hotel to everyone I know.
