Very unfriendly staff and if you call them to account then you get a disrespectful response in return.
My fiancé and I stayed the night in Antwerp as there were no trains back. My partner informed me that I would check in a little later why the receptionist said there was “no problem”.
From the moment I got there I was treated like a criminal!! It was very clear that foreigners WERE NOT WELCOME. I did not have my ID with me and I still passed on my details via itsme. Sir said he would have to call the police since I didn't have an ID?! This is NOT a service...
Afterwards I decided not to sleep in the hotel because of unhygienic and unsafe feeling in the hotel.
After leaving the hotel I left a review on google to which the hotel manager responded with “if you invite several men we will call the police”.
This is very disrespectful behavior for a hotel!!!!!
I don't advise anyone to stay here overnight...
If you're looking for a decent property, Citybox is a good choice. There they treat a PAYING CUSTOMER much more friendly than at this kind of hotel.
1 star is even too much.

Comfortable bed
Good location to reach the center on foot
Sufficient towels and shampoo provided

Negative aspects
Cleanliness of the room not impeccable (hair in the bed, bathroom and closet)
Very low temperature in the room on arrival and radiator not enough to heat it quickly: in the morning the room and, especially the bathroom, were still cold
Strong bad smell on the ground floor and light even in the room (on the 4th floor)
