Hotel Rubens Antwerp.
The reviews said walking from Antwerp station but we cud not walk as it was far.
We paid 25 euros to reach the hotel.
A quiet hotel without any frills.
The rooms were clean & comfortable
The bathroom & toilet were separate so easy to get ready.
The sheets and towels were clean & orderly. It’s important for us to have a clean bed & washroom so that made us really comfortable.
The breakfast should have more variety for vegetarians, the fruit selection was limited.
Only one bottle of 500ml water per person per day which I thought was very strange.
There was no noise as some reviews had mentioned it earlier.
May not return due to its location.

A lovely hotel in an excellent area
We spent four nights in the Rubens Hotel Antwerp and would highly recommend it. The location on a quiet street just off the Grote Markt was excellent. We had a lovely room at the back of the hotel which was bright and quiet with good air conditioning.The staff, without exception, were great: friendly, helpful and very professional. The breakfasts were also excellent and guests had the choice of a bright diining room or a shaded external courtyard.

Excellent location in central Antwerp within walking distance of everything. The hotel will be amazing after renovations are completed but it’s nice as is right now too. Breakfast is basic, but the rooms are large. The elevator is comically slow and I hope the plan is to replace it soon.

Antwerp City Trip to enjoy Tall Ship Races
Stay right in the center of Antwerp close to all the events, restaurants, bars ... whilst enjoying the tranquility during the night and breakfast time. Great service that started at check-in (or even before) and continued during the entire stay and all with a smile !

A wonderful retreat in the center of Antwerp!
Antwerp was the first stop on our trip to Flanders; we spent three nights at Hotel Rubens and were completely satisfied, starting from the tastefully furnished room to the service at the reception and during breakfast, the selection at breakfast itself, and the perfect location near the Grote Markt. It doesn't get much more central than this, yet the hotel is very quiet. The only downside was the construction site in the courtyard, where work began on weekdays at 8 AM. However, the hotel made an effort and even provided earplugs. Since we kept the windows closed due to the heat and the - thank God - functioning air conditioning, the construction site did not disturb us at all; in fact, we could hardly hear it.
