Unique Experience & Gluten-free Friendly!
The girl at the reception desk was super kind and even remembered the next morning that I have a gluten allergy (Celiac disease) and made sure I got gluten-free bread for breakfast. It can be really stressful to find gluten-free food when traveling, so this really meant a lot to me. They also offered to store our luggage because we arrived before the check-in time. The room was spacious, modern/trendy, and had everything we needed (including a great view of the cathedral). I don't really understand some of the bad reviews. The buildings here are old and Europe is generally very eco-conscious, so you need to have realistic expectations. Also, the World Cup was happening during our stay and we couldn't hear a thing from the restaurants/bars below when we had the windows shut.

The room is very different because in the middle of it Stands a see-through shower bathtub that you can look right through all the way to the sink from the bed. So it seemed like there was no privacy until we noticed that there was a curtain that could be closed and pulled right across the room blocking it from site. Window over to bed is small because it is an attic room, but it’s all you need because you look up through it and there is the cathedral off to your side. I just adore the room. The only thing I don’t like in many many hotels in Europe is the toilet being separated, and everything else. But I loved this room in general.

Great location.
Booked a cathedral view room for a 2 week stay. Having aircon in the room was a real plus with the hot weather. View was great and we had everything we needed. We didn’t experience any disturbed nights with noise. Breakfast buffet was really good and lots of choice. Perfect location and staff were really friendly. Only minor niggle was placement of sockets which were hard to fit our UK adaptors but we made it work. Bathroom was nice and no issues with water temperature or pressure. We had a great time.
