Perfect

We were received very warmly. The two days at Villa Kakelbont was perfect! Good bed, nice room, very good and neat bathroom, blissful garden, and breakfast was delicious with lots of homemade goodies. Every detail was thought of.

A cheerful look back at Pippi Longstocking in Villa Kakelbont, Borgloon.

Villa Kakelbont is a unique charming place to stay in the center of Borgloon. Everything breathes the style of Pippi Longstocking but in a subtle and charming way. Small details in decoration will put a smile on your face. The garden is an oasis of peace and unspoilt nature, you are surrounded by greenery and birdsong. The kindness of hostess Sopia is heartwarming. She was always on hand with tips about the area and her breakfast of homemade products was the perfect start for a day of cycling fun.

A unique stay

The delicious smell of freshly baked pastries upon entering immediately caught my attention in addition to the charming and friendly welcome by hostess Sophia.
The large and airy rooms immediately give holiday feeling. The location of the property overlooking the beautiful nature and city center of Borgloon are great, highly recommended!!

Vriendelijke gastvrouw en lekker ontbijt

Wij hebben één nacht in Villa Kakelbont geslapen en waren over het algemeen tevreden. De gastvrouw en haar zoon zijn heel vriendelijk en hebben ons goed verwelkomd. Het ontbijt was echt heel lekker, met versgemaakte producten.
Minpuntjes: wanneer men in de kamer beneden slaapt, veel last van lawaai van de gasten die boven sliepen. Ook het ontbijt wordt in de gang geserveerd, net voor de kamer. Wie graag iets langer slaapt kan niet door het lawaai van de mensen aan tafel. Ook had de kamer een vreemd geurtje. Voor de rest was alles prima!

Hoi Simon,
Een beetje late reactie maar er is de laatste jaren veel gewijzigd. Het ontbijt wordt in de woonkamer geserveerd bijvoorbeeld. Kom gerust nog eens en geniet van het vernieuwde concept van Villa Kakelbont in Borgloon
