Simple and powerful relaxation
The hotel Is simple and quiet. It gives free access to the thermae: a wonderful complex with a wide variety of facilities, pools, saunas, Roman and Turkish baths. It is open until midnight and not very crowded. The atmosphere is both simple and powerful. Nothing fancy. Just so much relaxing and reinvigorating... It is really great

Hotel very disappointing!
We stayed in a Classic room with breakfast.
And you should know that we are not the type to complain, we never write comments but there, total disappointment!!
But how is it possible to make people sleep in such conditions!!
The bed was almost even the floor, very complicated to get up (having back problems, it was really hard), mattresses and pillows very hard, I had to sleep without pillow.
The draperies are not at all blackout so as soon as the day was up, it was all clear in the room and no insulation so we could hear the cars pass non-stop, evening and morning.
The radiator from the 1930s was all rusty. The bathroom, although tiny, was clean but I shouldn’t have been bigger otherwise I wouldn’t have had room to sit on the toilet.
I wanted to make myself a tea and when the water ran from the Senseo, it was brown, probably leftover coffee from before. The least thing would be to wash it (it only takes 10 seconds) between nights.
What I love about hotel nights are breakfast buffets.
And here, the highlight of our disappointment.
Boni choco jars,... installed thus, cooked and annealed omelets that stuck in the bottom of the dish, milk tasted bad (I did not know how to drink it), cold meats in the air so without refrigeration for hours.
We asked for a hot chocolate (or cocoa) but were told there was none today.
And then the housekeeping staff who walk in, have cake or whatever and eat it standing there in the lunch room...
When we left, no one at the reception, we did not know where to put the room card... We met a cleaning lady who took it.
We’ll never come back to it again, that’s for sure and it’s a shame I find to leave a hotel with such a review on it, especially a hotel linked to thermal baths!

The hotel is located in several houses on a relatively busy stone road. I had a ‘back room’ that immediately opened onto an outside square. This made looking inside very easy for pedestrians and passing cars. Which doesn't do much for privacy.
The room was large and consisted of a composition of different furniture that did not go well together. The table was very high while the chairs were therefore very low.
The plank floor with wide slots between the boards is not so good for dropping small objects. They'll be hopelessly lost. I wonder what's under that floor already.
Breakfast was basic. Everything was there.

Is this a joke?!
we had combined a day at the spa (catastrophic) with a night at the hotel, how can I tell you that... dated and mediocre.
So the staff is polite, fortunately the Deluxe room is spacious but no relaxation area you pay for empty space... nevertheless it is clean!
The breakfast is mediocre, very low quality, the bare minimum.
In the evening we decided to eat in Brussels because nothing was open around the hotel.
Be careful to know the hotel, the spa, the reception are in 3 different locations 100m from each other so not practical at all!

Nous avons d'excellents restaurants dans les environs, et nous trouvons étrange que vous n'ayez pas trouvé d'options ouvertes autour de l'hôtel.
Sur notre site internet il est bien notée que l'hôtel se trouve à 200 mètres du spa.

Not worth more than 100eur per night (breakfast included. )
There is a loud noise in the toilet that persisted and never stopped. It is impossible to sleep in room 82.08.
The price of 250eur for 2 nights did not include the spa. I find this way too much for what the room is. You have to pay an extra 60 to 100euros for the spa which I find a pity.
There is no elevator so make sure to ask in case you have a lot of luggages. It’s not luxurious at all compared to the Reception which is modern and renovated.
But at least the staff is nice. But definitely not worth its price which is too sad because I was really looking forward for a nice relaxing weekend.
