Simple B&B with fantastic breakfast

Reason: Holiday trip for 1 night
Location: somewhere in nowhere.
Room: We had a budget room with shared bathroom for two with possibility stay 3 persons in the room. Small room, nothing special, it was possible to get heating in the room. The shares bathroom was big enough with shower. Even other guests where in the B&B nobody disturb us and we do not need to wait until somebody is staying in the bathroom.Room was clean.
Service: Rooms has free WiFi with good speed. On breakfast it was possible to have the hot food, like omelette with eco eggs. Also some choice of ham and bread, yogurt, muesli, vegetables and fruits, homemade jam, coffee, tea.
Conclusion: The breakfast was fantastic, the stuff was friendly and lovely. Very nice place to have a rest from big cities.

Disastrous!

Incomprehensible that this B&B gets an average score of 4 out of 5?! So I accepted that well. The only plus point is that the B&B is located in a quiet/green area, but otherwise it becomes clear from the miserable private access road what condition the B&B is in. The access road can only be entered properly with a 4x4 (or tractor). Arrived in the entrance hall, and believe me you can't call it a “welcome hall” at all! First and foremost, there is the full “fly trap” – you know, one of those dirty yellow sticky rolls – which you almost bump into since the hall is not lit. Now we've been to the end of October, don't I think there are still many flies? Next is the sullen reception of the unkempt hostess; she guides us to the room – a cold, musty smelling room – although the window was open. She told us that the heating would come on an hour later; Not so! Now we certainly did not expect “grand luxury” at that price, but a four-poster bed from pre-war years, with ditto mattress. Sheets that have had their best days since the 80s. No TV – not a big deal and not what we expected. But no bottle of water, no possibility to make a coffee. Honestly? We haven't even started on the bathroom. You pay on arrival, in cash! Now we know why; we did not stay, because upon arrival after a visit to the restaurant we understood why the window was still open after 6 pm in October in the evening.... That smell, no, not that of nature (not always nice either, but on a farm understand) but look, and not just a little bit. However, the kitchen was hard to find... We didn't wait for the promised delicious breakfast!
Conclusion; Not worth the name B&B, perhaps fine as a youth hostel, for young guests passing through and who just want to stay dry. It is absolutely not worth the price asked!!! And tip to Booking; Maybe visit the accommodation yourself? Valid score 1/5!

No heating, No kettle, No TV, 4 poster bed falling apart, Can not get into room until 6pm. The rooms where cold and dull, We ended up booking somewhere else. The room did smell, Once we was told there was no heating it was cold.

Superb breakfast

My 2 children and I stayed here one night, beautiful setting and house but noisy neighbours. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, all you would want and more. There is always a dog running round, which my eldest didn't like so if you're not an animal lover that would be a minus.

Delightful B and B

Delightful B and B and welcoming owner who seems to speak most languages. Quite a charming
place with animals. We stayed three nights, it is a great base to explore most places in Belgium.
Both rooms were good, comfy and clean. Very good value and the breakfast was excellent. A long
driveway to navigate off the road to the B and B, but it is very quiet and peaceful. Not much near by
locally in way of places to eat. Yes I would stay here again. Enjoyed it.
