Very nice address in Ardennes

We had an excellent overnight stay at Domaine de Bra, a charming address surrounded by nature in Bra. The setting is calm and relaxing, ideal to disconnect for a weekend.
The room is comfortable and warm, the spa with jacuzzi and sauna is a real plus, and the Obra restaurant offers quality home cooking. The welcome is simple, warm and sincere, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
We recommend without hesitation this address for a nature and relaxation stay in the Ardennes.

Gastronomy with a twist

In winter, the road can be a problem.
Nice very quiet location.
Reception reception chilly
Reception resto and.service very good.
Good food and service.
With main course you choose your own side dish, vegetables and sauce... beautiful concept. Fresh..seasonal. terrace is very nice. Restaurant is nice but basic. Definitely come to eat again...ps we didn't sleep here

Good But

Beautiful room but, catastrophic soundproofing, one is awakened as soon as someone gets up at night to go to the bathroom in the neighboring rooms.
The music that goes to the depths in the wellness area and that even closed windows prevents to settle calmly.
The estate is infested with mosquitoes: including in the bedroom and given the height and walls impossible to catch them. Anticipate repellent and intakes: 10 injections in 24 hours! The one without mosquito nets remained closed...

We find much better elsewhere...

Deplorable attitude on the part of this establishment which makes no effort to be friendly and even less commercial. When we know what Welcoming we can have elsewhere, I can only advise to avoid this establishment

Disappointed

A well-crafted concept, decor, beautiful materials, design toilets with a nice cleanliness and smell, care products at the top and a thick toilet paper as at home, a nice restaurant... but disappointed anyway. My wife gave me an original night in a tent. Not being a strong fan of classic camping, it is a more luxurious and tempting approach that the property offers. We're coming but... no one to receive us. We settled in the reserved tent anyway following the explanation email received before our arrival. Fortunately everything was ready but the access to the toilets was locked and we were only able to take a shower after being asked the restaurant team to arrive later (at 18:30 still nobody at the reception). We had reserved 40 minutes of wellness at 18:00 but the sauna had not been started and it takes 1 hour to warm up... Luckily there was a functional hot tub. And we didn't get a discount. There is a charging station for electric vehicle but which the boss does or does not operate according to his will, a little sad. After asking me 20, then 25 euros for a charge (we needed 20 kw or about 3 euros cost price), he deviates and advises me to go charge elsewhere. Indeed, even at the exorbitant rate of fast charges on highways, it will be cheaper than at this unsympathetic man. We had to go to a station the next day and lose 1 hour and 15 euros when the car could have charged at night on a beast taken 240V in 10 amps for 3 euros. Would he have offered me an acceptable price of 15 euros (high price "motorways"), I would have accepted but either. Everything leaves us a bit bitter when we see what welcome we can have elsewhere. Very sad.
