Very good hotel for an honorably reasonable price. No air conditioning.

Great hotel for a very reasonable price.
Modern and sleek and efficiently furnished.
We got a very spacious room with beautiful views and balcony with seating.
Nice location. and easily accessible.
Parking fine in front of the door.
Room etc clean and tidy.
Beds are good and spacious and clean.
Shower water could be warmer.
There is NO air conditioning in the room.
But with the outside door to balcony open, no further issue.
Service and reception also fine and very friendly and helpful.
Hardship is good and complete, and not really special.

Not worth repeating.

Hotel was all right. On the other hand, not on the lake. No seat no umbrella. Only small piece of beach and lots of grass on which it is hard to sit and can not place a parasol. Not worth repeating. Luckily the staff is super friendly. .

Has potential

The hotel was basic, but adequate for a quick stopover.
We had a room for people with mobility issues. The room was dark and very basic, not even a chair! I had to bring in a chair from the balcony. The biggest issue was the bathroom drainage system, the room didn’t smell nice from the start but after a shower the wet room was flooded and smelled horrible. There was even a floor squeegee left in order for the guest to push the flood towards the shower drain! I wonder how often this room is used and if management have ever checked the room personally.
The restaurant where we had our evening dinner was pleasant and the food OK. The breakfast room was very ‘canteen’ style, but acceptable. However the quality of some of the food on offer was questionable. The grapes were going brown and the cheese was ‘dried up’.
With effort and determination this hotel could be a very successful destination for stopovers going through Belgium to the channel crossings. I do hope the management look carefully at what is available to them and make radical changes. For a start weeding the hotel frontage an making sure the car charging facilities on offer work!

Beautiful place

Beautiful place, super friendly stewardship, the kitchen is slightly under but it remains very good, the menu lacks choice apart from traditional dumplings and croquettes unfortunately, the lounge area for the aperitif is very nice, the aperitif board generous and good, dog friendly that's always nice,

Nice quiet place. Value for money OK. Description of rooms to review. Noisy ventilation.

What did you like?
Located in a green and easy access. Very quiet place. Welcoming rooms. Keys provided in a safe place outside business hours or in the absence of staff at reception. Heated floor in the bathroom, which is nice.
Do you have any suggestions?
I had booked a superior junior suite (the one with the small seating/TV area), and I was given an economy junior suite that costs 15€ less (without compensation). When I asked for an explanation, the receptionist told me that these are more or less the same rooms. It is therefore useless to book a "superior" with "so-called" small lounge... The WIFI code was not indicated either on my confirmation or in the room. I had to make a call to get it, and now the receptionist wasn't 100% certain of the code. Because the place is quiet, the ventilation is very noisy in the room. In the bathroom, however, no worries. It was a rainy night, with water drops falling on the shelves of aluminum exterior windows... with a constant drip sound.

Very good location
