Superb friendly, and nice gem of a hotel - totally recommended
What a lovely place - so friendly, and really welcoming place to stay. The hotel is an unusual mix - part coffee shop, (not like a place to go to drink coffee, but a place to buy bags of coffee beans, and chocolate and cakes - a really great and interesting shop - and then the hotel reception is linked to that.
The reception area is super-welcoming, with a roaring open-fire, and really nice place to sit and chat - just a lovely place to be in.
My room was booked at the last minute, for a business trip, but even though it was a small single - it was really nice, clean and tidy, with a nice bathroom, and lovely courtyard. There's even an outdoor swimming pool, which was lovely and clean, (but freezing cold in a blustery December evening!)
The breakfast was also amazing - so friendly, the hotel manager basically cooks the guests the breakfast they want, and makes everyone so super-welcome. I felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend, rather than just leaving a hotel, when it was time to leave.
To cap it all, because I stayed on 6th December, the manager gave all his guests at checkout a little gift - a pair of chocolate statuettes - really nice. I gave one to my wife and one to my daughter when I got home, and they both wished the manager and staff at Koffiebranderij a Merry Christmas back!!
If you want to stay in Puurs - DEFINITELY pick this hotel - what a lovely place. And a personal THANK YOU from me to the manager. Not only did he make me feel super welcome, but he also sorted me out with a taxi to get to my meeting, because there were no taxis to be found in Puurs that night !!

Quick stop
I slept one night in this little hotel.
The hotels offer nice room, enough to sleep and well cleaned.
The service at check in, b fast and check out has been very ok. At the breakfast you feel like at home. It worts exactly the price you pay.

Good size room and bathroom!

Well located in the centre of Puurs. WithIn walking distance from the train station and local amenities.

Most friendly and accommodating place we've ever stayed!
The most friendly and accommodating place we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived Willem and his family did everything they could to make us feel at home. We are a family with an 11 month son, who also wasn't well during our stay, but they went out of their way with everything we needed.
Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The garden and pool were lovely for relaxing too. The food was delicious, excellent evening meal each night and good breakfast spread. The different coffees each morning were fantastic and it was lovely hearing all about them and the family history of coffee grinding/roasting. Loved the artisan food/coffee shop next door!
Finally, best thing of all was the personal service. After just one night Willem knew our names, our drink of choice, and how we liked our eggs cooked in the morning. We ended up doing a lot of washing due to our baby being ill, and hung the washing on the balcony when we went out for the day. When we came back Willem told us how he had moved it round every 2 hours to catch the sun! On another day he put it through his own tumble dryer and then hung it all up in our room. Couldn't ask for better service.

We zijn zeer blij met jullie reactie, en ook gelukkig dat jullie zo tevreden waren bij ons. Alles wat we gedaan hebben, hebben we met plezier gedaan omdat jullie zelf ook zo'n lieve mensen waren; nog proficiat met de behaalde medailles.

Felt really at home and the food was great
We were part of a group rowing at Hazelwinkel. We had an evening meal every night and the food was brilliant. We slept well every night and I learned later that they had installed extra sound insulation between the rooms. It certainly works. The outdoor pool is full depth and was heated and we enjoyed a swim. The different coffees every morning for breakfast were a big bonus. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful that we were sorry to leave. The only slight problem was the wifi which only sometimes worked well, however this did not detract from a great holiday or the well deserved 5 stars. Thankyou
