Wonderful

A lovely friendly Auberge with a fabulous restaurant in Thulin. It is located on a square in the middle of the village with plenty of safe parking . The proprietors and staff could not be more helpful to make your stay enjoyable.

The restaurant has lost a lot of its quality...

The staff is very welcoming...
BUT, the quality can be improved.
I went there after a disappointment (rancid butter...), to try again.
The cervelle meunière is good, but no care taken when setting it up ;(
On the other hand, the salad that accompanies the dish is simply VIBRANT.
I reported it to the waiter...
Answer > "Sorry"...NO MORE.
INCREDIBLE, no replacement, no commercial gesture...
NOTHING.
I'm bet shocked and disgusted with this place forever.

A PLEASURE TO RETURN

Always a pleasure to return to this comfortable and welcoming hotel and restaurant. M. Etienne and his staff are a pleasure, whatever you ask for they provide, nothing is too much trouble.. All the staff have the ability to look after the single traveller. Bedrooms are comfortable and well serviced, crisp laundry and comfortable beds. A varied and well-cooked and presented menu. A good wine list and good carafe wine as well.
Always a comforting sight, the restaurant is much supported by local residents!

Superb

Lovely old French Auberge spotlessly clean family run with an excellent restaurant serving freshly cooked local produce and very good value. All the staff were helpful and welcoming and I would like to thank them for looking after my mountain bike. I will certainly stay again.

Good hotel in a ghosttown

Arrived here during a transit to France. Nice staff and a good hotel with big rooms. Average standard. The town itself looked empty for people. I guess most of them were eating in the hotel restaurant which had some excellent food. Hotel owner very service minded and helpful.
