Great place to stay during our walking holiday

The location (in a somewhat seedy neighborhood near the station) is not ideal, the rooms rather small, but it met everything we needed as hikers. A good bed, a nice hot shower and a good breakfast.

Good value, great location, friendly staff

Good Location. I wanted a place near to the station, the town centre for a meal and the venue for a live music event on the night of my stay. This ticked all boxes. Friendly, welcoming staff who showed me the keys and where the bathroom and room were. Beware this isn't a modern building and retains the character of the stairs, high ceilings etc. My room was the lowest priced one. Room was perfectly good for a nights stay and matched the description perfectly. Bathroom on the floor below was good. A nice hot shower and towels provided. Value was particularly good and the need to use a bathroom on a different floor wasn't an issue again for a one night's stay. The only slight nag was perhaps the time for the lights to stay on the timer switches could be a bit longer. They often went out in the time it took to get from one floor to the next.

Like being at home

Like being at home. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, large rooms. The brasserie below is characteristic, not noisy. Abundant breakfast with quality food. A few steps from the station, the area is decidedly well served. After the first experience, at the beginning of November, we returned because we found it so good.
We will return again in the future.

This is a local gem of a hotel. Overlooking Verviers Rail Station. Even though it is in the centre of town the rooms were quiet for a quality night's sleep. The Cafe Bar and Rooms are comfortably and classically furnished, with lots of nice modern touches. We were provided with a positive welcoming experience. The beds and bathrooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Famous Belgian Beverages are available, and the breakfast was very pleasant. Will gladly visit again.

Very good small hotel by Verviers Centraal, La Gare/ Central Train Station

This is a good though small (maybe 12 - 15 rooms, no elevator) hotel by Verviers Centraal, La Gare, directly outside the Verviers Central Train Station. Just outside the train station, walk out the front of the station, up the stairs and to the right, it is located directly across the small street, maybe a max of 200 meters walk. There is a small bar, serving Belgian tap beers too., pleasant atmosphere and they also serve good. bar food. The rooms are clean and quiet, even on the street side. I have stayed there several times over the years.
