A memorable stay in a charming, beautifully restored guesthouse in West Flanders

Our second stay at Auberge De Klasse and we were not disappointed. This beautifully restored house, Albert's incredible attention to detail and his long experience in providing 5 star hospitality makes for a charming, warm and memorable stay in the historical town of Veurne. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable and breakfast is excellent and generous - the home made preserves being a particular delight. Veurne is an excellent base for visiting the coast or touring the many World War One historical sites in this region of Belgium by bike or car.

Proportionally too expensive

In 2024, the name "luxury" is no longer sufficient. Very clean, nice garden and safe storage for bicycles. But the sweltering room without ventilation, with views from neighbors across, without a bottle of water is really a disadvantage. Nicely laid table, normal breakfast, but having to pay 2 euros for a asked glass of water, is not OK at "luxury" level. Room rate relatively too expensive.

Real class

groomed to perfection. Staying in the auberge means being pampered in a stylish way. Perfectly covered beds, a heavenly breakfast and all this in a stylish interior. Within walking distance of the city where there are more than enough restaurants. With a host where discretion and concern come first. Overall highly recommended.

Cozy, charming, fantastic. A winner!

Auberge De Klasse is a B&B with "Grand Class". We had booked a 4 night stay there. The host welcomed us very kindly and gave us a description of the history of this 18th century listed building. When he guided us to the room named "Angèle" we were already in awe of the charm of the beautiful interior of both the dining room and the lounge. We were also pleasantly surprised by the spotless room with a nice cozy decor. The host is very attentive and served a delicious and extensive breakfast every morning. The host pays a lot of attention to his guests and spoils them with great enthusiasm.
