A true Find and our favourite place in the Ardennes
We've visited this lovely place a couple of times now. When visiting this place, Peter and Peter the two owners, make you feel right at home. They've turned this place into a warm and cosy setting. A living room, grand piano, books music and fireplace with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, invite you to unwind and relax. Some carefully selected items, make you smile at life. Everything might not be 100% efficient, for us this adds to the charm.
The food is perhaps the true value on offer. At a leisurely pace, one delicious course after another is served as part of a surprise menu. Food is delicately prepared with fresh and local ingredients. The wines on offer are well chosen and with their moderate prices add further value.
Go here, enjoy hiking in the surrounding hills during the day and let yourself be thoroughly spoiled.

Tranquil and enjoyable
We were greeted by one of the two Peters on arrival and made to feel very welcome. The room we had was No 1 which had a large bedroom and toilet upstairs and a lounge area and shower room below. It was really comfortable and spacious. We stayed for 3 nights and maybe this is normal for them but I would have expected our towels to be changed at least once and our beds to be made.
The breakfast was great and made for an enjoyable;start to the day. The rolls were freshly made that day with homemade jams to compliment along with meats and cheeses.
The surprise menu evening meal was not cheap but as a treat well worth it! Each course was presented with a full description and the chef was obviously proud of his efforts. We enjoyed every mouthful!
The setting for La Trouvaille was amazing. Surrounded by fields with cows and birds the only close neighbours. We would definitely stay again especially as it it situated so closely to the Spa f1 track.

Great Find
Comfortable, quirky accommodation, but the highlight has to be the evening meal! It's such an art form, you just have to photograph every plate and it is also delicious! Owners provide a warm welcome to their guest house, which overlooks fields and forests.

Emplacement formidable rapport qualité prix excellent
A la lisière de la forêt une chambre d’hôtes avec table d’hôtes à un rapport qualité prix excellent. Dîner succulent, petit déjeuner parfait. Avons passé une nuit parfaite. Les propriétaires essaient d’utiliser au maximum les atouts du terroir.

Gastvrij B&B, centraal in mooie omgeving
We komen hier vaker, want de beide eigenaren zijn erg gastvrij en bereiden ook voortreffelijke maaltijden. Wij blijven er ook slapen (makkelijk, trap op en je bedje in). Het ontbijt is ook al zeer verzorgd. De kamers zelf zijn bijzonder gedecoreerd maar wel basic, en je mag zelf ’s ochtends je beddengoed rechtleggen. Dit adres is echt een aanrader voor levensgenieters.
Je kunt van hieruit een mooie wandeling maken langs de Amblève, maar er zijn ook veel andere leuke wandelingen en autotochtjes mogelijk.
