Beautiful wonderful jungle luxury

Beautiful house, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen. Absolutely stunning location with so many birds, iguanas, and monkeys. Staff on site were always kind.
Considerations: You absolutely need to have a renal car with 4 wheel drive. We didn’t rent a car and were stuck having the security guys take us up the hill in their trucks because the cabbies wouldn’t go up past the gate. Also, cabs were expensive. One night, the security guard had only a motorcycle and we had to hike up hill in the dark. Very scary with our two young daughters as it was dark and straight up hill in the mud.
Also, make sure to stop in at a market before you get there as there is no food or coffee on site yet, although it seems that a restaurant will be finished within the year.
Pool is also cold
Last consideration. Be comfortable with bugs. I must have killed around 30-50 very large ants each night (they seemed to only come out at night). It was alarming when we first got there but we got used to it. Just wore shoes the entire time :)
All in all, I would stay here again just because of the location and the beautiful house. Once they get the road and restaurant sorted, it’ll be perfect.

Belize's Best Kept Secret

Our group stayed at Chial Reserve in two villas, and although we were unsure at first, it quickly became one of the best trips we have ever experienced together. Josue went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, especially on our final morning when he invited us to try the new breakfast menu, the Cowboy Breakfast and fruit bowl is an absolute must!
The villas were spotless, beautifully maintained, and gave us incredible discount for our group and value for the experience was worth it. Everything felt private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to truly relax and disconnect. The quiet atmosphere throughout the property was something we appreciated every single day.
The early morning walks along the trails, the breathtaking views, and the howler monkeys outside our villa in the evenings made the experience feel truly magical. We had already planned our activities before arriving, but we highly recommend booking tours directly through Chial. Xunantunich and Caracol were incredible, and we only wish we had arranged them with Chial to make the experience even more seamless.
If you are visiting San Ignacio or anywhere in Belize, Chial Reserve is the place to stay. You arrive as a guest and leave feeling like a VIP. Honestly, this place feels more like paradise, they should have named it Eden.

Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). Comfy beds and pillows, cool A/C, lovely pool, beautiful views, all the comforts of home away from home. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!!!
