"Un-Belizable" Island resort - 10/10 recommend
Prana Maya should receive 10 stars! Wow! From the staff welcoming us on the dock as our boat pulled in, to the delicious food, to personalized and friendly exceptional service, to the incredibly clean rooms, every minute at the island resort was top notch. The atmosphere is serene, nature and wellness focused, and seamlessly one with the environment. We stayed in a room in one of the villas with ocean side balcony, privacy, natural light, and excellent air condition that was welcomed after a hot day exploring. Location was a bit of an adventure -- I would highly taking a Tropic Air hopper plan from Belize City. Prana Mya then coordinates the short 10 min shuttle to the Placencia pier and the 2 minute boat ride to the island and through the lagoon. The plane to the shuttle to the boat was an adventure to itself. Its the perfect place to either chill and do nothing or take on some activities at the resort like yoga, sound bath, spa (amazing massage!), stand up paddle boarding, and pickle ball. I can not recommend this resort enough. We will be back!

Amazing Family Vacation!
• Cleanliness: The villa was exceptionally clean, including the kitchen and the outdoor patio lounging areas. Rooms were beautifully refreshed twice daily, and the villa featured a wonderful, subtle diffuser scent throughout.
• Service: Impeccable and compassionate. All of our pre-arrival requests were executed perfectly. Everyone from guest services to the restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate us, seamlessly handling our last-minute changes. They even provided complimentary fishing gear and shrimp bait for our younger guests. Most impressively, when we faced a medication issue on a Sunday—when most local businesses were closed—the staff went above and beyond to arrange transportation to a distant pharmacy. They handled the situation quickly and with genuine care. A heartfelt thank you to Demera, Christy, Venneta, Alex, Brarilla, and David for turning an already amazing vacation into an unforgettable, world-class experience!
• Location: Secluded and serene. This peaceful, quiet resort is ideal for anyone seeking a wellness retreat or quality family bonding. The mainland at Placencia Pier is just a quick, five-minute boat ride away, putting the village's vibrant restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
• The Villa: Pure luxury and even more stunning than the website photos. It features upscale appliances, an in-unit washer/dryer, and bedrooms boasting breathtaking morning views of the Caribbean sunrise. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom with double sinks, a soaking tub, a separate water closet, and an incredible outdoor shower. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the living room sofa was perfect for post-excursion napping. While the villa got a bit warm on certain days, the staff quickly helped adjust the AC system to a much cooler, more comfortable temperature.
• Food & Beverage: Instead of a traditional buffet, the complimentary continental breakfast was made-to-order, fresh, and delicious. A highlight was the fresh-pressed juices made with zero added sugar! While the resort only has one restaurant and the Island Bar was not yet open during our stay, the meals were consistently fresh and high-quality. Food prices are mid-range, though alcoholic beverages run a bit pricier.
• Beach & Watersports: The beach area is quite intimate but perfectly adequate for our needs. If you are looking for long stretches of continuous white sand, you will want to head to the mainland. That said, all watersport equipment was clean, modern, and readily available.
• Pools: Our private plunge pool was adequate for our family of four adults. The main resort pool is on the smaller side—best suited for relaxing and lounging rather than lap swimming.
• Value: This resort is worth every single penny. We are already arranging our return trip for next year with even more family members!

Bucket List Belize Girls Trip
Location was beautiful more for a girls trip. Resort was beautiful & relaxing. The food is a different story it was ok no seasoning, not hot & portion size was terrible. I spent $514 for the 6 days I was there. The drinks was watered down & I know next time I would stop at a liquor store & get my own. The customer service is excellent Vendetta & Cynthia were so sweet. If I was to book again I would definitely go through Vendetta professionally at its best. Belize was on bucket list & I’m so grateful it was completed. I will be coming back & trying other areas in the spring. ✌& blessings Belize

The location is beautiful with access to the resort via a private cove on the island and the entire "view" from the resort facing the ocean. Food, staff and service was great. We will definitely recommend the resort to friends and would stay again.

Incredible staff and rooms. Very clean and the staff is friendly and accommodates many asks. Room service came in multiple times a day to tidy and set up.
