Aim to Please
From the cold towel upon arrival, combined with a welcome drink, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff at this resort aim to please and it shows in all they do. The room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The food is amazing. Try the shrimp ceviche. You must!!

Top tier for San Ignacio
We stayed here to start our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience! Every aspect of our stay felt like it was the best we could get. Our room had a balcony with a hammock and the landscaping made it feel totally private. The food and drinks at the restaurant were amazing. The cocktails and the ceviche were particularly memorable. The excursions we went on were Caracol Maya site with Carlos, ATM Cave with Renan, and Santos for Xunantunich. Each of those tours felt special and like we were with the best guide possible. This was definitely a top tier place to stay while we experienced mainland Belize.

A Memorable Taste of Maya culture in a Luxurious Setting
We came to San Ignacio Resort specifically for its variety of Mayan cultural experiences they offer on site. We participated in the Mayan medicinal herb tour and tea tasting, Mayan fish cooking experience, Mayan copal cleansing ritual, and the Maya Women's Group in the nearby village of San Antonio where we ground corn and made our own tortillas and used Maya processes to fashion our own pottery. The Green Iguana conservation experience was an added bonus. Every activity was led by expert guides who made the experience both interesting and educational. The entire staff was welcoming and offered personalized service beyond what we had expected. Each staff member went out of their way to make my birthday celebration memorable with a special cake, flowers in our room, and personal well-wishes.

This place was amazing great location the town is just down the steep hill but thats it just one steep hill. The staff incredibly friendly always looking to make your stay worth while. I would stay here again and again.

Needs Better Customer Service
I was really looking forward to booking with them, but the process was surprisingly so difficult. I called, texted and even submitted an inquiry through their website but unfortunately, I was either passed from one person to another or didn't receive a response at all, completely ghosted. In the end, it felt like my only option was to visit the hotel in person just to try to get someone to respond to my questions. I hope they can improve their communication and responsiveness.
