Location A great hotel to have a nice rest before long walks around the city. Hotel «Hotel DK» is located in Ouidah. This hotel is located in 3 km from the city center.At the hotel You can stop by the bar. It’s time to have a nice meal! Stop by the restaurant. You won’t be bored as at the hotel you will find a barbeque area. If you want to make your journey even more comfortable, you can order a transfer. At the guests’ disposal, there’s also a laundry, dry cleaning and a concierge.

A bit weird but fine

When I got dropped off at this hotel I was at first convinced it was abandoned. It has that look. I wandered around pas the empty outdoor eating area and the indoor banquet room, the empty pool and the courtyard, I seemed to be the only person there. But eventually a guy showed up (napping possible) and showed me to my room. A tiny room with a private bathroom and nice linens but very small and only with one barred and tiny window up near the ceiling, prison style.
The room was fine for my purposes. The staff were really nice and accommodating and made me delicious vegetarian dinners on request. The place was just so empty and it is so large, so it feels weird.
A bonus though is that it is right on the highway so coming and going to other destinations was super easy. Also, the hotel is a nice walk to the main part of the town and all the touristy sights. (You can walk on the highway, but there is a much nicer walk on small occasionally paved backroads.
If there was a more charming place that was more in town and was similar in price, I would opt for somewhere more charming, but this place was fine, especially for a short visit.
