Our essence was born in 1956 with a small grocery store and a friendly 2-room guest house. Essence that we try to show affection in the creative recycled decoration of the hotel.

Hotel and travel agency under the same management in the same building. Very different room categories.

Due to illness we spent five nights at Hotel Mitru . It is very centrally located, has friendly staff and a beautiful landscaped garden with sun loungers by the pool. There are many different room categories in the hotel and they were kind enough to show more rooms despite booking and we chose the Deluxe Room with bathtub. We were able to regenerate there and felt very comfortable in this new room on the third floor with great views. Next to the reception Is under the same management the travel agency Tupiza Tours, with which we could comfortably book a trip to the great surroundings.

Reserved a two night superior room and got a basic one

Upon arrival, our reservation nowhere to be seen. According to the guy at the reception desk who was unable to read the names in our passport.
After waiting more than an hour, we finally got a double bed room instead of a twin bed room. Waiting again for a twinbed room.
Next day we found out we only had a one night reservation.
Apparently we booked the four day Tupiza -Uyuni tour not with them but with the competition.
Pathetic people, eventually we got a basic room for the second night. They even lied to our travel agency and told them that we got a superior room.
Stay away from Tupiza agency and this hotel

Great staff!!

I arrived in the middle of the night (04:00) and yet I was able to safely walk from the bus station to the hotel. Someone was there for me who arranged a room for just a couple of hours, because my tour with Tupiza tours was starting from this hotel early in the morning. I could make use of the breakfast, and didn’t have to pay the full rate because I was just there for a couple of hours: amazing!

2 friendly nights in Tupiza

Very good hotel in the center of Tupiza.
We had two bedrooms next to each other on the 2nd floor with pool views.
Nice pool a little cool but very clean
Good breakfast. Very welcoming staff.
Perfect before you go on a 4x4 expedition to Uyuni

Family getaway

a Beautiful experience! staffed by their own owners who are attentive to the needs of each passenger. The owner and her children a sweetheart of people. We went with the family to celebrate my mother's 80th. We spent a dream weekend.. Breakfast EXQUISITE, has spaces to be in the hotel as the pool corners to read and watch the picaflores release the flowers from the garden, very attentive employees as well. Super comfortable quadruple room and very good shower! The unique Tupiza skies.
