Kang 100 percent the best.
way to help us. Rooms were clean. Staff were going an extra mile for the guests. Food was nice and they even opened the bar for us to quench the first.
We will definitely go again.

Great food and service- sad experience
We were grateful to get a semi detached hotel room near the restaurant. The food was good, and the staff was very helpful. The staff consisted of the clerk, a security guard, and the cook.
We had a quiet and good breakfast before our departure. Unfortunately, after we left the lodge and got hours away, we noticed our I pad was missing. We have no way to prove it was taken there, but that was the only place it was out of our sight. Specifically, when we had our meals. The security guard was nowhere to be seen the following morning either. All I can say is be very careful with your things if you stay there.

Comfortable bed, clean sheets and air conditioning
My wife and I shared one room and the boys shared another. Our room was still part of the old infrastructure. It was however spacious, the bed was comfortable with clean sheets, it had air conditioning and a bar fridge. The bathroom was clean, only had a shower, which is what we prefer in any case. There were adequate and clean towels as well.
The boys room was a lot newer than ours and had 2 single beds. They had towels, a bath/shower and overall theirs was a nicer, newer looking room.
Upon our return on the 26th of December 2016, we insisted on booking standard rooms, which we duly received upon our arrival. The two rooms form part of the old structure. They both had air conditioning, comfortable double beds with clean sheets, and a shower. Sadly, these rooms are rather dilapidated and have not been maintained as well as the executive rooms. They also only provided 1 towel in these rooms and there was no bar fridge either.
The staff were friendly on both occasions, although we found service in the restaurant to be a little slow. Their menu offers variety and the portions are generous.
All in all, Kang Lodge is great as a stop over for the weary traveler, especially if all you are looking for is a comfortable bed, clean sheets and air conditioning for the night.
