Disappointing

My experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing, especially considering that I made the reservation of the so-called “Master Suite”, which should represent the highest standard of accommodation of the establishment. To my surprise, the suite was located just below the hotel gym. During the training hours, the noise of weights being thrown on the ground was constant, with very strong impacts and vibrations inside the room, making it almost impossible to rest, relax or even sleep. What was supposed to be a period of comfort and tranquility turned into a real torment.
In addition to the noise issue, the room presented several maintenance problems that are incompatible with the announced category. There were switches that didn't work, lighting trembling inside the room, the bathroom shower constantly leaking and, the worst, the electric shower giving small shocks, which is unacceptable from any aspect, including safety. Add to this a very poor general lighting, leaving the environment uncomfortable and poorly designed.
As for the care, it was only reasonable, with no positive differential. Lack of goodwill and customer attention. At the time of checkout, for example, we asked for the possibility of staying for 3 hours in the room, since our flight was later and we only intended to return after lunch to take a bath. The attendant confirmed that there was no new reservation for the room, but still informed that she could only authorize by paying half a day. That is, they showed a total lack of flexibility and care with the guest experience.
Breakfast is good, but nothing else. There are no à la carte options, such as tapioca, omelettes or other items prepared on time, which greatly limits the experience.
Overall, it was a frustrating stay and far below expectation, especially considering the offer and the amount charged by the hotel. I would not return and would not recommend.

Very good hotel, great service, very good breakfast, but the restaurant stands out for quality and fair price.

Good experience

I stayed in Marruá for 4 days and I liked it a lot.
It is a comfortable hotel, clean room, friendly and attentive staff.
Especially D. Amelia from the kitchen.
I was the first to arrive for breakfast, because I woke up very early, and she already received with a smile a smile on her face and always attentive ensuring that nothing was missing. Breakfast is great, variety of fruits, bread, cakes and other delights.
