Honeymoon in Paradise

We chose Noronha to make our dream come true on our honeymoon. We were touched by the attention and affection with which we were received during our stay. The bungalow was very spacious and private.
The island is very different since the first time I went a few years ago, it has grown a lot which brings good and bad things. But, it was worth it!!! We made our dream come true and I wouldn’t change anything about our choices.

Beautiful and peaceful facilities and an incredible staff behind it.

Our stay at Solar de Loronha was very good. When you arrive there's a big wall with no sign on it, but once inside it's beautiful. A big swimming pool leads to cabins alongside the hill, and the sea and Morro do Pico as background. The Pousada is located in a very quiet zone uphill, but a 5-10 min walk from the busy center of Vila dos Remedios. Staff was a big part of our great experience. They are very friendly, ready to help you with anything you need. Being the fruit or juice you want for breakfast or special cakes they made, to getting you a guide for the hikes or tours. Room was very clean and AC worked very well, although be prepared to have some little visitors like geckos inside (you are in an island in the middle of the Atlantic, dont think you will not have them). Shower and toilet could be fancier, but they worked fine. It is a bit pricey but it was worthy, and in the same range as other Pousadas in the island with similar offerings.

BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS HOTEL!!!!!

I booked this hotel through Booking.com last september to spend New Years Eve. After a couple of days I cancelled because I found a cheaper one and I was still on my grace period of cancelling and getting 100% refund, HOWEVER, they have never given my money back!!!!! And I'm not talking about a couple of hundreds. The total for this trip was $4900/ YES 4 THOUSANDS dollars that I have disputed with My Credit card and still after 6 months HAVE NOT received my money back!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!! PLEASE BE VERY AWARE before booking this hotel that you are actually going to stay there!!!!! OBS: They asked me below when did I travel I said dec 2018 bc I had to put something but I never actually did travel and stayed at this hotel and still have a debt of almost $5000!!!!!!

9 dias na Ilha do paraiso

This Island is the true paradise, never saw something like that before and I am sure we will come back to enjoy more.
The pousada was ok, the staff was the most attentive and caring people that I can think of and they made the real difference with their simpatic and personal service every day.
The bungalows where quite fine, but the complete pousada needs a make over and some more cleaning to do. The view to the sea from the porch is priceless, we saw whales in the morning from our hammock!!
All in all it was spacious, comfortable and enjoyable and a fair value for the price compared to the other places on the island.
The pousada was the place where we slept, took a shower, had breakfast and jumped quick into the pool before relaxing in the hammock before leaving to dinner or other places and for that its perfectly fine.
If you are up for a luxury retreat or on a very tight budget its not your place.

Nice but lacks a WOW factor

Beware - you have to get through a 'building site' to get to here but when you walk through the gate the setting is beautiful. The bungalows are large, comfortable and well equipped and you have great views out to see from the decking.
WiFi is virtually useless though in fairness this is an island in between Brazil and Africa so suspect it's an island wide issue.
A good selection of restaurants nearby and two beautiful beaches just a 10 mins walk away
