Terrible, segregated and poorly educated!

Well, let's go: I usually travel whenever I can clear my head, and this time's destination was Joinville. I decided to be economical since I'm still recovering from the last trip I took, which covered 3 countries... ok, based on the reviews on Booking and Trip Advisor, I chose to stay.
Upon arrival, the room I had booked was not ready. I then asked if I could upgrade, the guy at reception measured me from head to toe and asked how I would pay. I calmly said, debt... then he changed the bedroom, and to my surprise when I actually stopped to rest, it smelled of mold, dusty sheets, just the bathroom was clean. Plaster falling off the wall and a stain of red splatter on the headboard (it looked like blood, I don't know!)
As I was tired as I was coming from my former dance school, I slept under asthma medication. As soon as morning came, I went to tell Mr. José the matter, who coldly responded by cutting me off, as I had told the boy the day before. I said no and he cut me off, changing my room, but… I should take my things alone. I was cordial, I looked at the room and, without help, I passed my bags and belongings there. As soon as I left, the cleaning lady, very rudely and giving me dirty looks, entered the room that I had left to clean, and was grumbling. As if that wasn't enough, today at check out, which was scheduled for 12pm, ONE HOUR AND FORTY-FIVE MINUTES BEFORE, Mr. José kept calling the room asking when I would be leaving, because if not, he would charge another night. But guys, I was on time!!!! I can't get used to a lack of education. I'm not rude. For other customers, just smiles. I clearly disturbed the “candor” of the place... so much so that I didn't even receive a good afternoon, good morning, etc. from the employees, but I made a point of leaving it. It's absurd for a country like Brazil to continue mistreating people like me who are not Caucasian... oh, wait: but would the treatment have been better if they had asked my origin, which is German, even with the dark-skinned phenotype?
Anyway. Don't stay.

Underwhelming

When I arrived at the hotel I realized my room didn’t have AC, I paid an extra 40 reais to get upgraded to a room with an aircon.
I got into my room and the aircon was placed at a corner of the room with very little room to do its job, plus, it was one of those small window aircon units, very underpowered for the size of the room ‘which wasn’t big to start with’
I went to the reception desk and the guy came to my room to inspect it, he said that’s how it was meant to work.
He gave me the keys to another room and told me to go there and check if the AC unit was any better.
It was an even older and much more underpowered ac unit.
I reported it to the reception desk and the guy suggested that I should kept trying different rooms, This was 23:30 and I had a busy day on that day so I decided to stick to the room that I had paid extra for, even thou the aircon was not working properly.
The hotel staff didn’t show any interest at all in helping me to resolve the problem. All they did was to suggest that I went on every room until I found a unit that worked properly.
I should have taken a picture to highlight the real standards of the hotel. I did take a picture of the tv screen to show my wife how small it was.
