Best customer service and great location

I am staying here with my Mother and I just have to say that the staff here, especially Carla, are probably the most dedicated, friendly and helpful staff I have ever met in a hotel before.
I wish I had learnt more Portuguese but communicating via google translate does the trick and they are so patient to allow me to do this. Carla however, speaks perfect English so this makes things easier. She is a beautiful girl inside and out as are her colleagues.
One day we wanted to have a massage and Carla actually walked with us a couple of block away to help us make an appointment. The staff there only spoke English but she translated everything for us and really went the extra mile.
The breakfast is more than adequate, the rooms are spacious, clean and have good air con. The showers are also great.
I cannot believe this hotel is so reasonably priced for its location to all the lovely restaurants on trip advisor. I definitely recommend this place!!

TERRIBLE INTERNET, NO WIFI

The hotel ensures that it provides a WiFi signal, but none of the options provided by reception do not work. Breakfast is theoretically offered from 6am to 10am, but at 7am there is still no coffee for the guest. Those who need to go to work cannot drink coffee in a timely manner

Food poisoning! Terrible wifi

Hotel breakfast had unfresh ham, my friend and I got food poisoning that destroyed a week of our trip! Though the staff was nice nothing explains this! Also - the wifi is horribly bad, waiting 1h to load youtube video? Horrible!

Quite place in the center of Manaus

My wife and I visited Manaus in September and we used it as a starting point for several activities in the area. This way we got to stay in this hotel for 5 nights in 3 different rooms and our experience was different every time.
The staff was very nice and kind, although only one of the persons working in the Reception knew some English. We managed to understand each other, eventually.
The rooms had big and comfortable beds with AC and a fridge. They were quiet, had big plasma TVs, but only our first room had working cable TV. The other 2 rooms would only have just a few channels working. The overall cleanliness of the rooms was okay - the bathrooms being the places where a better job could have been done ...
Breakfast was okay, with some diversity in food, but kind of diluted fruit juices. The personnel working there, however, was very kind and would ask people about what food they would like if the trays happened to be empty.
One nice thing - the hallway of the hotel would take you to a balcony facing towards a favela and the Rio Negro river. This was a very nice surprise!
And something else that also made a big difference - the great positioning of the hotel. A 5-minutes walk from Amazonas Theater and the (old) center of Manaus. Also, a 15-minutes walk from the Rio Negro harbour.

Good cost benefit

The hotel is simple and located near the center of town... fast service to check in and out... regular breakfast and rooms were a bit noisy (my room was close to reception). But it was clean and had AC.
