Excellent “foot in the sand” hotel
The breakfast is quite varied and meets the most diverse tastes. The pool area is nice and the hotel has its own parking, adding more convenience to guests.
The location is notable: the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Morro do Careca, one of the main Christmas postcards.
A very interesting aspect is the tribute to the King Pelé present in the decoration. The hotel features signed shirts and balls, as well as replicas of the World Cup cup. At the reception, there is also a summary of the history of the enterprise and its relationship with Pelé, which gives a special charm to the environment.
Overall, I consider the Kings Flat an excellent accommodation option in Natal, combining comfort, great location, functional structure and one of the best cost-benefit in the region.

Unprofessional attitude of the staff
The Kings Flat Hotel makes an outdated impression and does not match the photos presented at all.
Kamer
I stayed in room 307. This one was fairly clean. I only had hot water for one day. In the bathroom there was constantly a very unpleasant smell. To flush the toilet, you had to press and hold the button all the time. The sink was placed too high and the whole bathroom was simply oddly laid out.
Linnen
In a normal hotel, beach towels and towels are clean, white and without holes. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. The bedding was gray, with blood stains and holes. Also the towels clearly needed replacing.
Facilities
The pool was very small and there were only two sun loungers.
Staff
The staff was my biggest annoyance. Do these people realize that customers bring in the money, which ultimately pays their salaries? To my question “Falas inglês?” I only got a short “no” answer, without any difficulty to understand me. While I speak seven languages and even tried to make myself understood in Portuguese – which was often appreciated in restaurants and shops – the hotel staff showed no understanding or kindness.
I have been working as a travel agent for thirty years now and travel all over the world. This hotel is officially rated four stars, but in my opinion it deserves three with difficulty.
At the reception, no one spoke English. When I wanted to book a late check-out and pay extra, the receptionist in glasses showed no empathy or interest. There was no question whether I had a pleasant stay or if there was anything else I could do. Totally nothing. Instead, put a self-service robot there; that would have the same effect, but without rude behavior. People don't even say hello when they come in.
Breakfast
The same was true for the employee at breakfast. He was sitting there in jeans eating at a table and playing with his phone. Upon entering, he only asked for the room number and then walked around to clear tables and restock the buffet – at a snail’s pace. As a result, there were regularly no plates, not enough cutlery or glasses, and tables were full of crumbs with dirty placemats. This unsympathetic man literally got on my nerves. And then your day has to start.
On the wall was also a TV on which the news of crime cases in Brazil was broadcast. At eight o’clock in the morning at breakfast I really don’t want to be confronted with crime, but rather with some cozy music.
Conclusion
In short: this is past glory with the most terrible staff who have no business in the hotel industry. I will never book this hotel again and never recommend it to my customers.
The only thing one is good at is lubricating extra upgrades or offering an expensive taxi ride from the airport for R$180. With Uber, I was on my way for just R$49 and R$59 back, settled within three minutes.
My advice: Never book this accommodation. There are plenty of better hotels in the vicinity where staff do ensure a pleasant stay.

An honest cost x benefit, but with reservations.
Breakfast left much to be desired, ungrateful food and an atmosphere full of flies. The pool area is shared with the restaurant, so it is rare to have any privacy on site.

Excellent hotel. Sad breakfast
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I had a problem with the living room tv, and they worked it out shortly.
What we didn't like at all was breakfast. I don't know if it's outsourced or owned by the hotel, but it's very low level.
The price of the stay is according to the service offered and very compliant, but it is a pity that they continue with that type of breakfast.
