Stay of royalty, guest treated like kings and queens

I stayed at the hotel after an excellent recommendation from a friend. The purpose of the trip was to rest and shut off a little of the day-to-day rush. I stayed for six days and I'd have another life out there.
Extremely Positive Points: The care is the attention of the hotel staff to the guest is incredible, from the moment of booking to the check out. In this respect, I would like to thank especially Lucas, who was simply wonderful and already convinced me to come back a million more times.
Positive points: The guesthouse is a bit away from the center and the bars (about 400m), so the silence is the tranquility reign there. But at the same time, if it is of interest to the guest to go to bars and experience the “night life of new lavras” a short walk is enough. The hotel restaurant is very good too and works Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The breakfast is great and quite diverse (a recommendation is to include options for lactose intolerants) and the afternoon coffee is great for warm on cold days (a recommendation would be to add hot chocolate in both cafes). The bed is very comfortable and the bathtub is simply huge. The Wi-Fi works very well in every corner of the guesthouse.
Recommendations for improvement: It would be great if the suites had an electric kettle, which would allow guests to make teas or other hot drinks in the winter without the need for support from hotel staff. Add also the possibility (I don't know if there is) of room Service next to the restaurant of the guesthouse. Add a rug in front of the sink, as a path between the bathtub and the shower, so that the guest does not need to wet the whole room when transiting between areas. Evaluate the possibility of increasing the acoustic insulation of the suites. Last point, would be the possibility of relying on a spa or a professional for this activity, since there are not many options of this type in the city and would be the golden key for the relaxation of the guests.
As for the bathroom, which is a pretty pointed topic here, in fact the location (within the box, next to the shower) is not ideal. But the hotel staff informed that the works for adaptation are already in planning, and should begin after the expansion of the hotel.

Bad experience of care

Bad service. Servant Rafael told me that he couldn't open the garage gate before 2:00. I indicated that I only wanted to stay in the car, since the street was full of cars.
I never imagined living that. I can't even go to the bathroom before 2:00. I'm sure the owners shouldn't know this posture, because the quality of the initial experience is poor.

I do not recommend

Pousada has no access for chairs and difficult for the elderly,the ground fit is actually negative, you have to go down 3 floors.
To have breakfast is away from the rooms, rain time is bad.
Dark room, bathroom without box.

Beautiful guesthouse, all wonderful, well clean, polite and welcoming staff
The tv turns and you can watch in bed and in the bathtub, already stays with Netflix logged in

Breakfast of the champions

We spent a period of 5 days in Lavras Novas and the hostel chosen was King Arthur. A very different accommodation, a bit thematic, very charming and of welcoming atmosphere. Clean room, bed and comfortable pillows. We had a great welcome. Rafael very cordial and helped us with all the doubts. A special highlight for breakfast. What a coffee!! Varieties of items, one more tasty than the other.
A pity that this time it was not possible to go to the restaurant for dinner, cm sure on a next visit.
In this period we were, a part of the lodging was under construction, but did not interfere with our stay.
