It was wonderful days and everyone was very attentive, from the reservation with Douglas, the reception staff, the kitchen, etc.

Great stay!
Perfect stay! Super well located, a few meters from the historic center. Clean rooms with quality bedding. Good shower and air conditioning. Great breakfast and several options. And congratulations to all staff for the excellent service and receptivity from the beginning to the end of the stay! Value this VCS team very much, as it makes all the difference.

Comfort, welcoming and all in a few steps.
We would like to record our sincere thanks for the excellent accommodation and the affection with which we were welcomed, once again, during our stay.
We leave a special thanks to Rafaela, the owner, for the attention and welcoming, to Douglas, Simone and Luzia, for the kindness, dedication and care at all times. We also wish to congratulate the whole team of the breakfast and the room arrangement, which showed professionalism, sympathy and a lot of capricho, making our experience even more pleasant and comfortable.
We really liked this guesthouse, especially for the freedom and practicality of being able to do everything on foot, which makes the stay even lighter, comfortable and pleasant.
It was a pleasure to be with you again, and we will surely keep great memories of that stay. Our congratulations to the entire team for the excellent work!

Belonged damaged after repair and lack of management accommodation.
I left my glasses box (of grife, face, for better understanding) on the headboard when I left in the morning. Upon returning, after cleaning up the room, the box was broken and no longer working. I communicated the incident to the reception respectfully, asking for a verification of what could have happened. The receptionist said she'd check in the morning the next day.
The next day, when checking out, I asked the employee who was there at that time if she had an answer to my question and she presented herself as the manager of the guesthouse and informed that she had talked to the staff (which has been working there for three years and who are directed not to interfere with anything, according to her) and that no one would even have seen the box (which is large and yellow, i.e., striking), ending the matter without any apology or attempt to solve, absolutely, as if I had simply invented a story. Our friends who were in the same hostel with us, knowing what happened, report that this guidance is not followed, because their belongings were also all outside the place they left. All of them were moved.
The situation itself is already extremely unpleasant, but the complete absence of empathy or concern in preserving the guest experience made the impression even worse. I expected, at least, a more careful posture in the face of a noticeable damage after the room was cleaned up. I don't have time or intent for a process, so we just won't go back there, despite the good location.
With this, there is a warning for upcoming guests with personal belongings left in the rooms. Have more attention!
