Well chosen accommodation in Petrópolis
Great stay in this sumptuous cottage, comfortable qutos, immediate attention to all our requests, excellent location close to everything from the center.Platos served in the restaurant reasonable, from breakfast expected more.Non uniformed officials found strange not consistent with the profile of the hotel.,some not mto friendly at breakfast, others quite cordial.It is worth noting here the indication of the driver Bruno,super indico,excellent person and very professional,leaded us to several walks always peaceful and helpful.

Value charged incompatible with the service offered!
I stayed in the Master Suite, the "best" room of the hotel...
Negative points of the room:
1. Ralo of the rotted bathroom
2. If you open the hot tap water and someone is bathing in the shower the water gets cold
3. Mirror glass next to the cracked sink
4. black-out curtains with holes and releasing
5. the extra bed was with a hole in the sheet
6. the room has a staircase to enter, this information nowhere is mentioned I was with my elderly parents who have difficulty climbing
7. The daily was for 3 adults and upon arrival the room was completely unprepared for 3 people, only 2 face towels, 2 body towels, 2 towels, this problem was resolved as soon as I spoke at the reception
8. From the extra bed it is not possible to watch TV, better say that the room contains only 2 adults
Positive points of the room:
1. Comfortable beds
2. Quiet Room
3. Good amenites products
4. Clean room
5. They left a juice and 3 muffins pq was my mom's birthday
6. The TV works well, and with lots of options
Negatives of the hotel in general:
1. Breakfast very weak, quite weak, 2 kinds of fruit, 2 kinds of cake, dried cake, few options of everything... a disappointment, neither orange juice had... and there was a fly on the cake I talked to the employee and took no providence
2. Afternoon tea better remove, cold coffee, and pure sugar bicoitel
3. The answer in WhatsApp is bad, take a long time to reply
4. The outdoor pool is minimal, do not consider it has a pool
5. The hotel needs general maintenance as well as several reviews from other guests have pointed out this problem ...
Loose stones on the way, almost fall walking inside the hotel, painting, mold, dirty pool...
I went to celebrate my mother's birthday and sincerely do not return and do not indicate, for the amount charged the hotel leaves to wish in many aspects...
The amount charged is completely incompatible with the service offered.
A shame had already gone to the restaurant and was very eager to host me... Only disappointment

A royal setting and experience
Solar do Imperio is a gem : beautiful historical property and gardens with excellent service, dining experiences and atmosphere. Breakfasts are amazing with delicious options and tastes. The dining room is just magnificent with its decor and ambiance.
Extremely polite and efficient staff.
The location of the hotel is perfect: in the heart of downtown Petropolis but peaceful at the same time. We were impressed by the attention and care of all staff members, reception personnel who were always very helpful and courteous. Thank you for making our 8-day stay memorable!!

good but can be great again
The hotel is undoubtedly good and well located, but as is happening with other hotels needs urgent renovation, maintenance, care, otherwise will be just a well located but bad hotel. Rooms , pool , everything needs renovation and above all cleaning .

Charming, best hotel in Petropolis.
Lovely heritage hotel, renovated in 2006. Good size rooms with soaring ceilings. A little worn, but not enough to matter. Wonderful atmosphere and service. Excellent restaurant in a very charming dining room. Included breakfast is nice, too. Perfect location. Be sure to get a room on the second floor. Room 11 is facing the street but it gets mostly quiet at night and it has 3 windows, which is a plus.
