Pleasant stay, excellent location near the beach and the night street. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. Comfortable room and beds and the best shower in bathrooms. We loved it.

Worst hotel in Rio - run away!

Horrible hotel, ugly and unclean. Run. For free , not worth it . By far the worst hotel I stayed in Rio de Janeiro.
I arrived at night and they gave me a horrible room. The bathroom was dirty, with used paper in the basket, dirty room with floor with sand, old furniture, no light on. Bed that felt all the springs , elevator not working , I had to go down for breakfast the other day by the stairs . A colleague of the company who had also stayed there, found the room in the same conditions.
The location is excellent, but not worth it.
I would stay 3 nights and after the first night , I checked out . I became insecure about someone entering the room and having pets.
The worst experience.

Comfortable, well-located, very varied breakfast

The location is ideal, offering a calm environment while remaining well-located. Everything is just a stone's throw away.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly quiet, which is very appreciated. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Special mention for the very comfortable bedding.
Finally, a big thank you to the team: the staff is very kind and always available.
I highly recommend it!
We had a great stay at the Regency Park. The location is excellent, very close to the beach and very quiet.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and peaceful, ensuring a good night's rest. The very comfortable bedding deserves a special mention.
The breakfast was also a highlight, with a great variety of options.

The key that sometimes refused to work, but this was quickly corrected by the team, and this is part of good service, knowing how to resolve inconveniences with respect and efficiency.
There was a minor issue with the key card, but it was promptly resolved by the team, which makes me say: consideration is a significant part of good service.

I was robbed of money from my wallet when they were cleaning.

I had a bad experience as I was robbed of 100 American dollars from my wallet; this happened when we went to have breakfast on the last Saturday, June 27, at 9:00 AM. I left my backpack because we were gathering our things to leave since we had to check out of the room by 12. Upon returning to my room number 1010 and checking my wallet, I found that 100 dollars were missing. I made a complaint at the reception, but they told me that I had to file a police report, which they can use to find out who is cleaning the rooms. These things reflect poorly on the hotel.

Breakfast contains only different sort of egg products, but no rice, no potatoes, no spaghetti. You can just eat fruits if you don’t like eggs.
